  1. Pressure Washer Stolen!

Doesn't matter if it is politically incorrect since it is statisticly true. Chris, I wouldn't waste your time dealing with the shop they are pulling your chain. Make them replace your machine either by thier own accord or take them to court.
  2. Pressure Washer Stolen!

Yes it is what is required to have if you take possesion of others property to repair or otherwise move it. ( Same policy is what covers valets when they park your car) If the company says they do not cover losses like that they are not operating with the correct insurance in Texas or almost any other state. I would tell them in writing they were responsible for your equipment and you need to be made whole RIGHT NOW. If they have any past occurences of theft there and nothing has changed since then they are even more liable. Give them ONE opportunity to make it right ... if they balk or say we need to think about it. Get the name of the buisness they are operating under and go find a GOOD attourney. You have a slam dunk case if they are int he buisness of repairing pressure washers and one walks off from them.
  3. Pressure Washer Stolen!

Did this shop know it was missing before you went to pick it up and just decided to tell you now? If so that is BS and like the above poster said file a claim for the machine's replacement and lost wages on thier insurance. The specific thing you want is called garage keepers liability.
  4. Not sure. I know you posted up about the Babe's grave and meeting his niece and someone opened a can of beat down for a few pages. I did not follow it.
  5. Is this the same arguement that was hashed out over on the cop hater forum about a year ago?
  6. The economy going down the toilet?

The only reasons the dollar ( and our economy) has not imploded to the core of the earth is 1 the fact that the only way we can ever pay back any of our debt to the countries we owe money to is to allow the dollar to have value to buy thier stuff ( china). 2 oil is only allowed to be bought on the world market with US dollars making it the reserve currency for the entire world. ( remember in the late 80's when dollars were in short supply, gas was a dollar a gallon) Greenspan then flooded the market with dollars and oil shot up to 120 a barrell. This will come to a end very soon. you can now buy oil with the Chineese Yuan, Rubles or the euro.
  7. We have not done a job without a turbo nozzle in 7 years. Utterly essential for KEC work.
  8. Waterproof-ish Phones

G'z Commando. waterproof rugged android phone. Has gorilla glass and very durable.
  9. Interior lights

Try northern tool they sell LED lights for 29 a unit . put 2 on the side door of the van and 2 at the rear doors of the van. If you spend a few minutes planning the mounting out you can mount them so they can be swung in or outside the van for interior or area light. We have had them on for 4 hrs on jobs and did not kill the battery. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200512422_200512422
  10. Do you have the equipment and experience? If not I would sub it out.
  11. What kind of hardwood are you looking for?
  12. I'm with mike on diagnosis and cure. I have a Mi-T-M 3405 series that uses a spark generator driven by the engine to fire the unit and when the air cleaner ges dirty it drops the RPM and the burner fires terrible. Pull the air cleaner off completely and run it for a few witht he burner on in a area that won't call the fire department and let it burn off the excess in the coil insulation.
  13. I run both Mi-T-M and hydroteks in vans with no issues.
  14. Sorry for your problems with the unit. A brand new pressure washer should not have these issues and it should of been fixed a long time ago. Kohler... nice toilets but lousy engines.
  15. carpet cleaning at its best!

    Say what?
  16. Pass .......his junk is not your jewel. Needs ALOT of work to get running and when it does how long will it run if that is the condition it was used/kept and run in?
  17. You mean the one about all 7 of your posts are links to stuff you sell?
  18. calabrate down chemical injector

Put 5 gallons of water in a bucket and run the machine for one minute. Measure what was pulled out and you will know what you are pulling from your machine.
  19. Sportster

Thats a good price. 2004 and later had the rubber mounted engine so they are comfortable to ride for longer distances. I say longer because if it has the 3.5 gallon tank your goingto get about 175 miles out of the tank before you hit reserve. Which is fine because by then you will need a break anyway.
  20. Sportster

What year is it? Once cool thing about a 883 is you can go buy the 1200cc jugs and pistons and put it on it in a day and you will have a screamer that the insurance company will never know anything about it. Too bad the forum would not let you say T-I-T-S on the tires.
  21. Hannay is a great reel. It will last many years. I have 2 1500 series reels that have seen constant use for 7 years with NO issues at all , nothing at all. That being said might not want to mount the reels over your unit. if they leak they will drain on your pressure washer also if you need to do maintinance or repair your pressure washer you have to deal with the reels. I would suggest you seperate the reels from the pressure washer. That way you have access to your machine and if you need to take it out of service you can disconnect the supply water and the pressure hose with a disconnect and keep going.
  22. Buying vs Leasing

Unless you can not pay cash or qualify for financing stay away from a lease. The depericiation of pressure washing equipment is outrageous initally and you will pay for it and the lease fianancing. I leased a pressure washer and trailer. In the end we ended up paying about 61,000 dollars for equipment that was valued at 23,000 new, at the end of the lease it was worth about 3-4K used. The tax benifits are fair but the bottom line is bite the bullet and buy it outright . I know it hurts but it much much better in the long run. Also you need to figure you will need a inland marine insurance policy to cover the value of the equipment over the life of a lease.
