Bad contractor are bad contractors. Yelp is full of fake reviews both good and bad there are actually advertisements that will have multiple offshore e-mails submit good emails for your own buisness for a fee. Likewise there are groups that will trash your competition as well.
I think in Haddeeds case they were fighting a battle aganst some people that had legitimate complaints and some fake ones. If you look at the yelp reviews SINCE the announcemnt they were going after the bad reviewers they have been thouroughly trashed on yelp and other places for thier actions.
