  1. I have a Mi-T-M 2403 and it is an EXCELLENT unit. Honda 13 hp . They use a serpintine belt that runs down to a magneto discharge unit that fires the burner, blower and pump. They are very compact and thier cusomer service is the best in the industry I have ever experienced.

The only weakness is the belt for the unit. Keep a spare, they are a 4 rib serpentine and are durable like a cars serpintine . Ony thing to to change one out you have to unbolt the pump to get to the belt once you do it it can be done in 20 mins with a wrench and a 4.5mm long handles allen wrench. I called for info on mine and had 2 servcice techs answer it and one even called back to see if we had the machine back up and running and if we needed any further help.

  2. I like cleaner times but I have to say I was pretty miffed about the article on service 2-3 months ago and the sidebar about how dealers and their not sending in serial numbers on warranty work since if the machine is stolen they will now not get paid to the original client since the machine is stolen. I sent an e-mail about this to them, they are truely doing the industry a dis-service by doing that since a professional somewhere is out the machine and if they are a professional the buisness insurance would cover the loss .It would be nice to get the machine back and let justice start at some point for the original victim.

  3. They are pretty much the fore-bearers of the MVC series, you can see them on thier web page. They are good machines. I would suggest that you take the machine to a competent service center and have every fluid and filter changed and have them check the pump , unloader and burner for proper function. it will cost you a few bucks but when you do start to use it it will have been gone over and will last longer.

  4. One of the largest hood cleaning companies in Va uses the same set up on a full size chevy P/u and they work great.

I have a contractors cap on a F-250 as one truck and a E350- 14 foot box truck ( diesel) as the other the box truck i great for KEC work since all items are inside and secure.

  5. I put one on a hot water skid, cost me 59.99 here:

Heartland America: Crime Stopper Remote Start RS-1505DP

took all of 1 hour to install and works great. It has a range of almost 100 yards in the clear and works through a concrete wall as well. 2 remotes . I cheated a little and used a cheap high gain antenna and mounted it to the top of the box truck to increase the range but it has been flawless for almost a year now.

  6. If you get the 6.4 diesel ford make SURE the exhaust recall is done before you drive it. Apparently the engine mapping allows the exust temp to be hotter to allow total combustion of gasses in the pipe and it gets too hot and catches on fire. Also Navstar and Ford are not playing well since navstar wants for to pay a non-discounted price on the engines. So far the 6.4 is worlds better than the 6.0 diesel.

  7. Be careful with that 6.0 diesel. Especially if you look used for years 2003-2004. they had some terrible problems with them. Injectors main seals lower ends giving out . I guess when you make an engine lighter and more powerful it is going to have to give somewhere. The navstar 7.3 was big heavy and dumb, but indestructable. Ford is going to a "new" diesel next year ( late 2007) so if the 6.0 was not Broke why fix it?...

  8. Well, Most kitchens have a heavy pocelain tile that is impervoius .You can use a degreaser or even a caustic on that stuff and hot pressure wash it away. Unfortunately with a bathroom if there are any aluminum brass or soft metal fixtures. Not to mention plastics, vinyl or piant you cant use a caustic so stick with a gentle degreaser and go from there. If you have a floor drain anywhwere you are well ahaead of the game as far as cleanup I would suggest plastic over what you don't want oversprayed and make sure the water rclaim set up is bulteproof since if the water goes to the florr below I am sure the hospital will be sending you the bill.

  9. Ditto on the glock. Always works. It's the great equalizer of the 21st century. Don't mess around if you carry pepper spay or an ASP you are too close and the bottom line is even blind or hurt with a hit from the ASP he can and probably will hurt you. He will just be pissed off. If they are desperate enough to rob you they are probably under the influence of something that takes away pain. Pepper sprays and batons work because they hurt (pain), not because the incapacitate or stop a person. get a gun, learn how to use it and know the law and carry it responsibly. if you are not sure about that then do not carry it.
