engine revving/pressure fluctuating

B and S always pop when you shut them down. Even my lawn tractor does it. -
The internet is a goldmine of information, not just for our trade but for anything in general. It really is a blessing. If there is a difficult aspect to the web it's sorting the useful information from useless. If you know where to look and what to look for the internet is really a great tool. 26 years is a long time but I think some of the members of this site might have you beat. Not me, this is my 18th year at it and I haven't witnessed some of the changes you spoke about. What made you get into it and what made you get out of it? You must see a lot of powerwashers in Florida. Whenever I visit X city or X state I always look in their phonebook to see what the powerwash business is like. Florida is just packed with powerwashers.

engine revving/pressure fluctuating

I don't know if this might be related but I'll make a comment anyways... My 2 year old snowblower hunts loke a big dog (running lean) to the point that I have to run it at half choke. Here's the weird part; under a load, when you're actually moving the snow, it runs perfect. This started the second season I used it. After researching this I found there are two rubber o-rings in the carb that are dry rotted and throwing off the mixture. Maybe you have a similar problem. -

Sell her on the house, that brick is nasty dirty. -
Your opinion on this video please....

Pretty cool effects but the out of focus parts in the back were a little annoying. Did you make this yourself? -
It's here again; Valentine's day. Anyone doing anything special? I've decided to make indoor flower boxes for Polina (with Patrick's "help") to grow roses then plant them in the spring. I never got the idea of cutting flowers as a gift only to have them die a week later. Besides, it'll give me a chance to play with my new router table.

That really looks nice. How do you like that heating system? Ever had any problem with water leaking through the foundation? -

Finished the truck with Patrick. I think rebuilding the Lego truck was more difficult than building the little circuit for the flashers. <object width="400" height="224" ><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="movie" value="http://www.facebook.com/v/1820207793039" /><embed src="http://www.facebook.com/v/1820207793039" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="400" height="224"></embed></object> -

Today's project is making flashing blue wig-wag lights for Patrick's Lego police truck. Nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I'll post pictures when it's finished. -

My winter project

What a difference that makes, opens up the whole front of the house. In my opinion stairs are so difficult but maybe it's just me. Several years ago I redid my interior stairs with hardwood and black concrete...OMG! Fifteen years ago it took me almost 2 years to build this house. I thought is was going to take another 2 years just to make the new stairs. Nice work you did there. -
Treating an Asphalt Driveway for Moss
Rick2 replied to Bennyhonda's question in Residential Pressure Washing
You are always going to find it in the shaded damp areas of the driveway. I've always used a mix of 15%SH before/after a run with the surface cleaner and it works well. Gonna have to do my own one of these days. -

Icicles in Arizona? That doesn't happen everyday.

We were just moving snowbanks with the Bobcat when something in the motor went bang and diesel smoke started pouring out the pipe. This can't be good.

Spent 13 hours plowing yesterday. Started at 8Am again this morning and just came home for a coffee. Time to head back after playing "Mosster Trucks" on Wii with my 6 year old.

How 'bout some pictures? -
I'm not trying to sound like a smart a$$ but watch your spelling and grammar. I've only read two posts by you and both had errors. When you're dealing with customers they more than likely own the house or building (which usually represents a great deal of money) you are bidding on. If I saw a bid with these kind of errors on it I would move on to the next powerwashing bid. Just my thoughts.

Never used it.

Any of you been hit with this snow storm yet? Last I heard we're in store for 12 to 17 inches here in Massachusetts. I've got the plow ready and the truck filled with gas (ouch!). I guess it's going to hit us just after midnight. Making a few bucks tomorrow.

Here's my little Triumph. I bought it as a basket case about 12 years ago, no interior, engine, electrical, etc. Took 5 years of slowly picking at it to restore the car. Still needs a few little things but I have taken first place with it a few times at the car shows.
