    What's BMT?
  2. Never knew it took so much

Hi Charles, welcome to the world of powerwashing. The best thing you can do is educate yourself before buying anything. You can waste a boatload of money by purchasing the wrong things. Educate yourself here, ask questions.
  3. So there I was, on top of the house ready to spray down the SH on my last roof of the day when I saw it, laying right there on the roof. A big dog poop. I think it may have been from a dog. How it the world did it get up there? I've found many things on roofs before but never that.
  4. Unloader Question

Any reason why it's blowing water through the top of the valve? It looks kind of funny, like a whale.

  6. I did mine on a Whirl Away many years ago. The ones that come from the factory were junk, rusted apart after a year or two. Finding the right wheels was a bit of a pain, something that will not rust, but it's been fine since that.
  7. Every year at this time I get these cute chicks "hanging" around my front porch. The wife doesn't mind at all. Mamma bird builds her nest in the same hanging plant every year.
  8. Every year at this same time it happens.

Yup, they are Robins. About a week ago I put a webcam above the nest. Now I have videos of the parents feeding the babies. When I came home from work today I checked the nest and they are gone. All grown up and flew away. My little 5 year old was pretty upset of his birds leaving but i assured him they will be back next year. I'm sure we have all run into the situation where the homeowner wants to wait until the baby birds have grown before washing the house. Several times I have seen them build a nest on the front door of the house on some sort of reef or something. Cracks me up.
  9. Paint Removal

Careful on the paint removed from the building, might fall into the hazmat area. You might responsible to get rid of it.
  10. Paint Removal

Soda Blasting. In fact this month's Cleaner Times did a large article about soda blasting.
  11. I normally don't do many decks as a rule but have been getting more requests than usual so far this year. When I do clean them I apply the base and acid through a pump sprayer and never stain them, just clean. I have really been thinking about buying a Deckster and have been doing my research but I have a few questions I'm confused about. What's the difference between a Deckster and a Decker or is this just a typo on the poster behalf? What's the difference in a "5er" I see sometimes see added with the Decker or Deckster? I assume it means a 5 gallon bucket. Finally, what can't be run through the pumps without destroying it? Any other feedback will be wlecomed. Thanks!
  12. Is there a reason one is for cleaning and one for staining or is just to keep one machine cleaner than the other. If there is a difference which would you recommend for cleaning? Staining isn't really my field and I would rather leave that to someone who knows what they're doing.
  13. F-250

Looks like I'm going to buy a new truck and the F-250 looks pretty nice. I found a left over XLT 4X4 2009 extended cab with all the toys (power everything, sat radio, etc, etc) and 8 foot bed for 30K. I didn't want all the toys but I guess they are trying to move this one. A "basic" version is only 2K less. Being someone that's never owened a Ford truck I thought I'd ask for opinions here. Anyone???
  14. Watched while working.

Something was watching me at work today, something with eight eyes.
  15. Watched while working.

I don't know. Gave me quite the scare until I blasted it with the water.
  16. F-250

Well, this is my nice new truck last week. Doesn't quite look the same tonight.
  17. Watched while working.

A common problem when I lived in Japan were the spiders in the apartments. They were huge but harmless. At night while trying to sleep you could hear them running on the rice-paper interior doors. Used to freak me out but you get over it after a while. The bugs are just huge over there.
  18. Watched while working.

You never had a problem with them trying to eat you?
  19. Watched while working.

Years ago I had to walk off a job because of the amount (and size)of the spiders on the house. I told the HO to have an exterminator get rid of the spiders and I'll return. She never called me back and that was just fine with me.
  20. Watched while working.

Yup, after I got done screaming I blasted it with the powerwasher.
