I actually bought one during the spring for 20 dollars (or 30, I forgot) new from Buy.com. It works pretty well.

Hello everyone, out here in So. California
Rick2 replied to kleensees's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Welcome. Must be warm out there in SoCal. Starting to get cold in New England. Getting ready for the snowpolw season. -
Have you looked into soda blasting? I don't know much about it but I've seen "before and after" pictures and it seems to do a good job.

Strip this deck
Rick2 replied to ValleyPressureWashing's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
HD 80 is a great product, I use it all the time. It'll strip the deck but also strip the landscape. Water, Water, Water! -

Everyone has been through the hard times but most of us are still here. -

I use 15 percent and cut it at least 4 times with water, works fine. To clean roofs I use 50 to 60 percent water and pump it out of 15 gallon drums with a small gas pump. Don'tforget to flush the pump with water when the job is done or tou'll be replacing the seals very soon. -

That shouldn't be a problem at all. What percent are you using, 12.5 or 15 percent? -
Hey Beth and Rod, Here's an idea: Most of us talk about washing all day but how many of us really know each other? How about starting an area where we share photos about what we do when we are not working. Let's see what we look like in our spare time when we are just out with our families and friends. Want me to start it off? PS. You still wash like a girl. Hahahhaha

An elderly estimate.
Rick2 replied to RPetry's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
That's exactly what I do, ask them to to mention the price to their friends, or at least jack it up 150 dollars or so. It's Sunday but I just got 2 calls for work. Off we go. -
An elderly estimate.
Rick2 replied to RPetry's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
On the other hand.... This is what I call the AARP speach. When an eldery tells you they are on a fixed income and so forth. The house has to be valued at 750,000 or more, new Caddy in the yard, etc. They always beg for a discount. -

Mike, If you're just using SH for cleaning mold off the siding you shouldn't have to worry about the shelf life too much. Just try to keep it out of direct sunlight. -
Please Help me Ultilize my Current Equipment
Rick2 replied to Plazaman's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
That's a good machine you have, nothing wrong with it at all. Didn't it come with a chenical tip? -
Just got back, rear pads and rotors smoked after 23K miles, 150 dollars. Pads were hanging upon the rotors and they tell me it's not covered. So much for Hyundai's 10 year 100K mile deal on her new Santa Fe. I've got to follow up on this one.

Just listening to Remedy by the Black Crows. I always crank that one up.

I can never get enough of that song.

Those look great. Love your hobby pictures. I'll post some up in the gallery section as soon as I get back from picking up my wife's car from ther dealer. Brakes went at 20k miles and they tell me it's not covered. That's BS!

I thought the gallery was just for stuff for sale.

Went out for a little rip in the Triumph a few days ago just to put gas in it. Didn't bolt down the hardtop because I'd be right back. Big mistake. Good thing there wasn't a car behind me. Good friend of mine (auto body worker) said it going to cost a few cases of beer to fix.
-
A video would have been a hoot We've won a few first place prizes with that car. I don't even want to go down in the basement to look into the "box." Might make me sick.

I do love that little Triumph. Got to know how to use a tool to keep them runing. Totally fun.
