The Looj's weakness is the battery. However you can get NiMH 7.2 battery with a 4000 to 5000 mAh and a smart charger for about 35 bucks on Ebay. The Looj comes stock with a Nicad with about 2000 mAh (junk). Be sure you get a Tamiya connector. I am a bit of an electronics and ham radio geek. Talk neardy to me.
  2. Cedar fix

How many times have you seen warped siding because the the grill's heat. It never fails to make me laugh a little.
  3. Apology

Beth and I got into a good one a year or two ago. We both got over it... no problem. Like someone posted, "Life is too short." All is cool.
  4. General brick cleaning?

Sand blasting will make a huge mess. Been there and done that.
  5. A day off from power washing

  7. A day off from power washing

Nah, that's not a camper, it's the inside of my boat. We have a cabin crusier that comes in handy when the 4 year old gets tired. When I was a kid I had a speed boat but those days are gone. More of a family thing now.
  8. Wow, that really came out great!
  9. 2009 12.5% SH prices

3 bucks for 15% SH here in Massachusetts

I bought one from Buy.com for 30 dollars and it works very well. It's not perfect but it's worth 30 dollars. I figured that if it was junk i"d give it to my 4 year old son to play with.
  11. Wishing everyone a safe and Happy 4th!

Heading to Boston with the family to see my old college roommate at his house for a blowout party. Haven't seen him for almost 20 years. Facebook is cool but it's not like the real thing. Strange, we live less than 100 miles from each other but never seem to contact. I've really got to start putting more time into these types of things.
  12. Win a prize

    You win all Ron's stuff.
  13. Billy Mays found dead at age 50...

Oh boy, here come the jokes.
  14. job site visitor

Maybe you can hire him to do gutters.
  15. Pump of choice

Cat and General serve me very well. Two AR pumps gave up way too early in life.
  16. Hoses in the truck

I got tired of keeping my wet hoses inside my enclosed trailer so I made a way of mounting two reels on the inside of the truck.
  17. Fathers Day Gift

That's very good news. Next March you'll be a very busy man.
  18. Weekend project

The wifes been after me to build her a "serenity corner" in the yard. Got the brick work done last week. How does it look?
  19. Hoses in the truck

    I hope I don't sound stupid but what's Line X?
  20. Hoses in the truck

I guess if I put more time into it I could solve the water in the trailer problem but this way does keep the trailer much cleaner. Besides, that area behind the truck's wheel wells doesn't get used for much. I'm not really worried about them being stolen, most of the public wouldn't have a need for these types of hoses. Also I live in a decent area so I'm not too worried about things being stolen. Althoe they did get my Jet Skis a few years ago.
  21. Weekend project

I used to have a great "cave" in my basement but lately it hase been overrun with Power Rangers, Thomas the Train, and Geo Trax train sets. I think it's time to start on that 3.5 car garage. The .5 will be for me.
  22. Hoses in the truck

Actually I put them on towards the end of last season. My neighbor had put them in the trash so they were well used. I haven't had any trouble since last year and this season has been very busy so far. They are being used 2 or 3 times each day. Each hold 100 feet of HP hose. They keep my new trailer very dry. That was a problem with my last trailer. When I would roll up the hoses I would always get a good amount of water and dirt on the floor of the trailer.
  23. Goodbye 2008!

This all happened two weeks before the end of the new year: Recovering from a fractured left wrist when I slipped on ice in the driveway and shattered my right wrist. One of the bones were crushed beyond use so they had to put in another bone along with metal rods to hold it all in place. I have to go for surgery again in five weeks. Sold a powerwash trailer… check bounced. New snowblower first use… motor threw the rod. Goodbye 2008!
