Think about this picture if you're spraying chemicals tomorrow without eye protection. The eye looks pretty delicate... and scary.

They did such a wonderful job on that house. It's hard to find craftmanship like that these days.

I aggree. A 3 dollar bucket from Lowes and a gutter scoop is the easiest and cleanest method.

Keeping Airless Overspray off house while deck staining
Rick2 replied to staudend's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
When using drop cloths neodymium magnets work great to hold them in place providing you can find a nail or other metal to attach them to. if you get stain on the siding a weak mix of hd80 removes it quickly. -
Had to wash three tennis courts today and had that crazy song stuck in my mind throughout the entire job. Forgot my mp3 at home.

My city (Springfield) just got wacked with two tornados. We're okay but parts of the city are destroyed. I was hoping the tordado would have sucked up the LED yard lights my wife bought but no such luck.

A few pictures of an area about a half mile from my home.

This was oxalic on a pool apron yesterday. About 2 pounds to a 5 gallon bucket of warm water.

Thanks, were all fine and no damage at all to the home, cars and boat. This even made news in my wife's little country of Bulgaria. The phone started ringing early this morning from her friends there to see if we were okay. I'm just kidding about the lights. You know how they always get in the way when you're cleaning a customer's house.

What kind of residential pressure washing are you doing?
Rick2 replied to Beth n Rod's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Ahhh, that's a riot. Did you know what it was before you started cleaning it? There's got to be a joke in here somewhere about moss and stones. -
I'd bet the problem with engine no.1 isn't the engine at all. it's the unloader on the pump.

What can you do with a old Cox reel that has been sitting in the garage for ages and a hand truck you bought at a tag sale for 10 bucks?
-
I had a couple mounted on my last truck but haven't put them on the new truck yet. Last week I ordered a Cox dolly but the factory said it will be about 6 weeks before I can expect it. That's a long time.

Six percent is being very liberal; I bet you're lucky to get three percent.

I've got one to do this Sunday, about 21,000 sq feet. It's an easy wasy so it's priced at .04 a square foot. Naturally more difficult jobs go up a few more cents a foot.

Water usage for house washing ?
Rick2 replied to sprayer dave's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Think of it as a couple loads of laundry; not much water. -
What is up with sales people not following through in this industry?
Rick2 replied to Neil's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I've never dealt with Delco but have heard many good things about them. On the other hand I ordered 100 feet of hose Monday night from a well known hose distributer in the south. I hoped to have it here Friday so I could rig up another roof pump on the truck but I got an email from them on Friday saying my order has just been processed. What was happening all week to my order? I guess it doesn't matter anyways. I've been hearing in the news that the world is going to explode Sunday. Figures! I finally get my home paid off in April and now in May the planet explodes... just my luck. How come I wasn't told about this whole "planet ending thing" 15 years ago when I took a loan to build this house? I think I'll start drinking again. -

Have him talk to Bob over at Pressure Tek. The UPS guy will be in his driveway before he hangs up the phone. -

That is so true. Every single year I see it happen. -
I bought a Magnum 500 last year (same thing as a Deckster) and it works great for this that type of work. Look for it at the Ready Seal site.
