Watch the waste water from the sidewalks.

Crazy busy out here in Massachusetts. I forced myself to take the day off today and spend it with the family on the boat. The answering machine has 5 new messages on it that I haven't listened to yet.

Bleach is a base, not an acid.

I personally find it highly annoying and can't hit my 'mute' button quick enough. Like earlier websites that featured flashing signs and a ton of animated gif files I think this gimmicky stuff will fall to the wayside. In a website I look for informative content, easy navigation, relatively quick loading and cohesive structure. Instructional videos are definitely a plus (like we talked about last night, Michael)
I feel the same way. I mute it or hit the back button as fast as possible. Drives me crazy.

Carpenter bees will bore a perfect 3/8 hole in the wood and you will see bits of "sawdust" below it. Look for the sawdust on the edge of the roof and then look up.

Didn't they do an article about him before? I thought he lost the use of his legs and was now training horses.

I heard about that earlier this summer. The news I heard was those nuts at PITA were intrested in it to turn it into an animal killing horror house. I swear I'm not making that up.

I plan on getting a good one tomorrow. No powerwashing tomorrow, just floating around on the boat and showing the little one how to fish. Boat's hooked up to the truck, cooler packed, gas tanks full. I'm ready!I was ready but the weather wasn't. Rain all day. Actually I had two reasons to go, one of my regular customers wanted his deck done on his lake house. I was excited to use my new sprayer but it looks like it'll have to wait for later this week to take a look at his deck. He sent me a picture of it.

Wow, what chemicals do you use to remove that nasty greese?

That's the way it should work! Welcome to our world.

I've got labels, just never thought to put them there. Good idea.

How did the work go? Was it what you expected?

Sort of. It's the part where he said "I don't have any use for it so I'll leave it by the...." Know what I mean? I know it was just a 3 dollar bucket from Home Deopt but it sounded as if he had the right to keep something that belonged to me but he didn't have any use for it.

A message on the answering service yesterday went something like this; Hi this is Mike, you did my house earlier today, no problems, it looks great. You left a 5 gallon bucket behind when you left. I don't have any use for it so I'll leave it by the garage for you to pick up later. Thanks, bye.

No matter what you do there will always be people that low-bid in this field and in any other field of business. They have always been here and always will be here. They show up at the start of every season and are usually gone by the the end of the year only to be replaced by another. There are also customers that will always go with the lowest bidder just to save a buck or two. What can we do? Nothing. Really, it just makes us look that much better.

Rick,You really need to drink more beer!
That was my problem, now I don't drink anymore. I realy do miss sitting on my deck after work having an ice cold beer but that often led to about 12 more beers. I miss it but I'd rather keep the family intact.

Do you think that would hurt PVC pipes?

Used to have little ones all the time in Japan. I was a little unnerved when I first moved there but you get used to it after a while. First thing I learned was to never put your coffee cup to close to the edge of you desk or else you'll be cleaning up spilled coffee and a broken cup.

Not that I've noticed. Besides, it's my wife's car. I'll just blame her if something happens to it.

Rick,Looks like you have been spraying a lot of bleach... Like the Modelo one, it looks like how that beer tastes!
So that's what Modelo is. I really had no idea what Modelo was.

SH is a bleach but stronger than what you can buy in the stores. I've never had a problem algae growing in my fresh water tank but if I did I would throw a little bleach in it. I bet that would solve your problem. How often is your tank used?
