  1. Has anyone ever come across a brazilian tatajuba deck? It's a beautiful wood. But over time, like any other wood it grays. Would the cleaning process be the same? I've been using New Again and ox acid for the past 10 years but for PT and cedar decks. Thanks. Louise
  2. Estimates - how do you handle them?

Free estimates always, except when the home owner states that its for an insurance claim. Not one insurance claim ever followed with a job. I learned not to waist my time anymore. I'll charge $25.00 for the estimate and unless they hire me I'll take it off the top.
  3. What did you do before becoming a Pw'er?

Retired NYPD Detective, 20 years. Worked 9/11. Started powerwashing my last 7 years in the Dept, partime, when I worked the graveyard shift. Since sold the business in NY and moved to NJ and started the company again.
  4. Rino liner

I have the rino lining in the bed of my pick up 6' bed, $400. (not for pressure washing) It does fade a bit but holds up to a lot of abuse, (loads of rocks, dirt etc.) In my pressure washing van I applied that Huriculiner in the front passenger and drivers side floor boards. Within 3 months the stuff started to peel. If your going to invest your hard earned money go with the rino lining. JMO. Good Luck.
  5. Can I brag, a little?

count me in, road trip !!! I'll bring my springer softail. During the season I dont get much riding in.
  6. Bartering services

My sprinkler man wanted his cedar home powerwashed. Approx 2900sf 2 story. I used cleaners and OX acid. He had his workers do most of the work and I supervised. It was great. I got a sprinkler system in my yard. And I have a big yard.
