  1. Decals / Stickers

I do. I picked up a plotter and a bunch of vinyl material and did my own. It came out very well for my first time. I even did decals for my other cars that I drive when I am not working. I park them in a high traffic area and included my phone number so the are acting like free billboards both when I am driving and when they are parked. Jockying them around to avoid parking tickets is a small price to pay for that kind of exposure. I would consider doing decals for others, time permitting. email: heli_man@sbcglobal.net
  2. I recently picked up a soda blaster for graffiti abatement. I havent had a chance to mess around with it because I am setting up my hot water rig right now, but I will post the results on how it worked. I have heard good things about it though. I have a friend who works for the city near me and she is in charge of graffiti removal and they have used the same company for 15 years (actually they were the first and only company who approached them about doing removal) and I told her about the soda blasting. The other guys are color matching and painting over without even attempting to pressure wash and the turn around time is around 72 hrs +. I live close and will be able to get it done same day. She already agreed that after I get set up, I have the contract, which is rather large, pending the outcome of the soda blasting, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it does prodice good results.
  3. Please don't laugh...

A picture would help out. Some reels have a metal clip that holds the coupling onto the reel. If you can get that clip off, the coupling comes off and you can use something like a mill vice (they are small enough to carry around and you can get them pretty cheap).
  4. Graffiti on Aluminum Siding

Or, you could go out and buy a soda plaster like I did. There probably isn't that much of a problem with graffiti there to warrant the purchase, but I got mine for $200 and the media (Armex) runs roughly $31.50/50lb bag. I know there are Canadian distributors. There are also some vendors who will give you the blasting pot for free if you buy thier product. I am actually in the market for a more heavy use setup because of the need I have for it. I locked a contract with one local city and I am working on another contract with the next city over, so I will have a dedicated graffiti abatement rig and 2 PW rigs as well (one hot and one cold)
