  1. Where is Shane? Shane...let us know if you are okay?
  2. We started out as New Look Power Wash when we were just playing in water :). Since then we have added painting, landscaping design and concrete work as a list of our services that we provide. We have since incorporated the company and also added our new company name to New Look Partnerships, Inc. We still have our business license for New Look Power Wash but for the most part run our financials through one business account. By doing this has increase our revenue from a reporting standpoint.
  3. Very good points Philip.
  4. We have a D & B number ~ had it for a few years now. If you don't have one we would recommend that you get one. Here is a helpful link: http://smallbusiness.dnb.com

  12. PWNA Members Invited To Bid

Hello Henry, It sure does sound like there is some positive energy coming out of PWNA. That is good for the organization and the industry. Again, congrats to all. Where have I (we) been? Simply put...busy. It has been a remarkable year for us on all facets of the business with considerable growth in everything that we are doing. We added a quality assurance team to our service(s) and it has proven to be a positive component to our business. Our real estate program steadily picked up momentum throughout the summer and we just signed up another real estate company last week in the San Francisco area. We are looking at something in the Reno, NV area but have not sealed the deal on that...this would be a big contract for us if we get it. On top of everything else, we are smack dab in the middle of a move. We purchased a new home recently and are in the midst of moving. Moving sucks! As you see, we are "moving and shaking" ~ literally :). Spoke to Matt about a month or so ago and I do visit the TGS everyday just to see what is going on.
  13. PWNA Members Invited To Bid

There was so much negative proclivities coming out of the PWNA camp last year. It is refreshing to hear the positive for a change.
  14. PWNA Members Invited To Bid

Hope this thread does not turn sour. Great news from the PWNA. I am not a member plus don't have access to the site but it sounds like the organization is really trying to get back on track. Kudo's to everyone that was involved. Now let's hope the members that get these jobs provide a fabulous service.
  15. The Gas Crunch

Hey Celeste, Good seeing you. We have been busy, busy and busy all summer long ~ no complaints here! Glad to see the concrete overlay is working out for you.
  16. The Gas Crunch

Pressure Pros makes a good point regarding diversifying. We started out years ago just doing pressure washing but over the last 2 years we diversified our services to include concrete, landscaping and painting. Best business decision I made.
  17. The Gas Crunch

We are watching the price of gas very closely for the rest of the year. Also heard on the news in our area that the cost of natural gas will go up an additional 40% by the time January rolls around. I want to keep our pricing structure intact for the last quarter of the year (if we can) but if things continue to go in the direction they have been going (gas prices), we will increase our pricing structure at the begining of the year to offset the increase.
  18. The Gas Crunch

$80.00 to fill up my 2003 GMC truck. That is just 1 of 3 that we need to fill up on a weekly basis...ouch!
  19. Support this bb.

Can't believe why a few people try to "sling mud" at this industry and the people in it. Could it be that they sit around all day and believe in themselves that they know what they talk about but in reality they do not have a clue. I have nothing but support and admiration for Beth & Rod's contribution to this board and this industry.
  20. Gas prices

It is only going to get worse before it gets better.
  21. Would you want a rig like this??

John.... Great job in landing the rig. It looks great. As far as I know, you have one of the most interesting set up's that I have seen in this industry. We expect to see you and the "Monster Rig" on the cover of Cleaner Times in the near future. LOL. Good Catch.
  22. New Truck

    Very nice looking equipment
  23. Are you Ready For Some Football??
