    Well...the last few days have been really nice where the temps have reached the low to mid 90's. We have a vast weather pattern that will continue to sit over the Bay Area that has nothing but clear skies and hot temperatures. People are swimming and families are getting ready for the July 4th.....wait a minute.....this is the Rain Thread...I meant to post this over in the Beautiful Weather thread....sorry! :lgangel:

    I would like to ask that all keep Robert H. in your prayers. Robert goes into surgery tomorrow to have an inter-ear procedure done. Robert has been experiencing significant dizzy spells and acute hearing loss. At first they thought it could have been a tumor. Foruntately the CAT Scan proved otherwise.

    Robert will be in surgery tomorrow morning around 10:30 am. If you happen to remember, think about him during that time.

    I'd go to starbucks for their espressos, I never liked their brewed coffee - there was like a million different flavors and some of them were down right bitter. I've heard good about verona - and not so good about pike's place brew.

    I have tried the Pikes Place Dan and yes.....not that good. Also the Sumatra is heavy with acid taste.

    during the ***** Convention!!

    You will be assisting the ***** in many ways

    such as Event Registrations, On-site Activities

    I just joined that board today.

    I have a very special announcement to make soon that (I hope) everyone will be glad to hear. No, it is not a baby You were the last! HaHa, I haven't forgot that remark at Hooters in NJ. I still would love to have another NY Fireman's shirt (XL) even though I am down about 20 lbs. since yoy saw me last. I gave up Hooters, that was the weight issue I guess. The original got lost when I moved a few years back

    API is currently arranging tour packages with the Orlando Convention Bureau for your touring pleasure. No time for a little vacation? Sure you do. Your ***** convention room rate starts on Oct.21st. Come down a day or two early to spend time at Disneyland with your family.

    The ***** Convention Committee is establishing the cost to attend the actual convention. We will announce this as soon as we ensure that all expenses for the convetion have been considered and finalized.     It struck me as funny at a time when I needed a laugh. It read to me like "I am posting but not saying anything" which just gave me the giggles. :lol: Still does! :lol:

    Huh? What the heck does that mean Beth? I wanted to acknowledge that I was aware of this issue but couldn't really comment. Nothing more ~ nothing less. I been on this board for over 6 years and been a mod for I don't know how long. Are you saying that I should not have made a comment?

    Wow...Scott you always been around to help...shoot...I remember...ohh 6 years plus is when I first ran into you on this board.

    mmm...interesting times.

    All I can say brother is you will be missed by 'Los over here. I know where to find ya...later dude!!

    In recent days Admin of TGS asked that staff step up and help better control the chaos that often occurs on the site.

    A couple of days ago a member here at TGS attacked a reputable distributor and a piece of equipment he sells without any working knowledge of the product.The claim of using similar components may hold water to some,but not with me.If you haven't used the equipment in question you simply can not give an honest evaluation.

    I interjected my opinion in the thread while trying not to allow my friendship with this distributor to grossly skew my comments.I should have known better,but being a moderator I wanted to do my best to steer the thread away from propaganda that very well could damage a distributors spotless reputation.

    Because if my willingness to try and head off what I saw turning into a negative thread I now stand accused of stirring the pot.That perceive pot stir bought me an infraction today.One I don't feel I deserved.

    One member does not a BBS make.One members 2500 post with a great number of those containing plagiarized scientific material shouldn't be a trade off for making moderators doubt anything they do in the name of keeping the peace.

    Time and again the member in question has proved he can not get along with others in BBS forums being banned from many of them that relate to pressure washing and roof cleaning.Yet they are allowed to remain on TGS as staff and other members are alienated.

    In light of the events of recent days I ask that Admin remove my moderator status and return my account back to regular member status.It's time for a change of scenery and the view from the members side doesn't look so bad.

    I wish the moderators and Admin the best of luck.

    When a new phone book arrives I check to see if Im listed. Im usually done with that by the time I reach the garbage can, and there it goes. Cant remember the last time I actually used a phone book for its intended purpose. 100% of my new customers have come from the web since last fall.

    Same here Roger...can't remember the last time I used one. I think we have 3 or 4 of them laying around but we don't use them at all.
