In the middle of a deck job, need some advice
bigchaz replied to dperrin's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Pump up sprayer will help speed you up a little bit until you get around to another sprayer. and yea its the speed mop. You can do it both ways, either applying it with the pad or spray and use the pad to even it all out. Pump up sprayer doesn't give the evenest coat, so the pad is critical in evening out the stain -

In the middle of a deck job, need some advice
bigchaz replied to dperrin's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I tried rolling once or twice in the beginning. I found you still had to back brush to get an even coat. I prefer to use a pad painter on the floors. Deck Stains and Brick Paver/Cement Sealers - Exterior Wood Deck and Paver Restoration Services and Sales carries 18 inch pad painters. Avoid the lap marks by using your brush to cut in one or two boards around the rails. Then immediately stain those deck boards. Dont do all the trim and then come back to stain the center of the boards. In between the deck boards, if we aren't spraying, a 6 inch stain brush will get good coverage. Make sure you are getting both sides of the crack. If working away from the house you have to remember that the other side of the crack is still visible to people inside the house -
ahhh Lichen, so thats what that stuff is called Is bleach most effective at removing it? I had that junk on a old shaded deck and had to sand off spots that the sodium hydrox didnt get

I think it looks really professional, but I honestly like your other site more. I found it on google right away. You have good text on the front page that the search engines are able to index and therefore they know what the content is about. I typed window cleaning femroy and your sister site came right up. Avondhucleaning is no where to be found.

No text on your home page will hurt you in organic searches And I did start to get tired of all the movement whenever I clicked a new link. Maybe leave the links stationary once you get past the home page? Since the header is the same on every page, the movement is no longer necessary to attract the eye

WTW Brown Sugar
bigchaz replied to plainpainter's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Do you backbrush on all your spindles as well? I use a sprayer too, but usually just leave the rails alone after spraying. Do you saturate it to the point that it it will start to drip? -

sprayers-backpack-tank who makes the best
bigchaz replied to dlech1825's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Be careful with stripper or acid in a backpack sprayer. Someone on here has a good story about that -

haha yea i was being sarcastic. They always look through the predictions afterward and find some referance to 911 if you read the page upside down backwards and translate it to chinese, french and back to english.

your gonna have top put pics up to show what the deal is Fuzzing is normal and easily corrected. What kind of stain was on there originally? Streaks of light and dark can be just part of the grain of the wood, which is why Im not sure if you are exaggerating here. -

Is There Anything Realy New
bigchaz replied to jeffex11's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I would think the first step for you would be going full time. Your growth and innovation is going to be limited with two jobs. As a full timer you could be washing 3, 4 decks one day, do some sales the next day, stain 2 of the decks, then the next day stain the rest and start cleaning two more. Do hundreds of decks in a year -
WOW #2 ...another craigslist ad
bigchaz replied to MichiganPowerWashing.com's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Even if he did do all that for 100 dollars I fail to see why it should matter. Craig is 100 percent right!!! Why everyone worries about lowballers and other companies ads I fail to comprehend. Sell your service, sell your professionalism, sell your quality, sell yourself, and youll make money
