UK Play Set

Looks nice but they had to import that? Dont yall have playsets over there? -
Honestly I would just get a big 12 month planner book and write in what needs to be done each day. Use different color highlighters for jobs that span more than one day. You write the job in on the day it starts then highlight it with yellow and highlight a line to the day the job ends. If there is more htan one project overlapping you use different colors. So if I day has 3 different color lines going through it, you know that you have three jobs in progress for that day

Where Can I Find These BIG Decks Stain Pad Applicators?
bigchaz replied to fireandrain's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
You can also use the big ben trays for large rollers. The pad fits perfectly in there and you can use the ribs on the tray to wipe off excess stain -

Clear WTW on cedar playset?

My understanding is that clear sealant will simply prevent mold and mildew and water but I believe the pigment is what provides the uv protection in a stain -
Customer wasn't a huge fan of the color in my honey gold pictures I mentioned that the brown sugar color is available and although I haven't done any jobs with it that I would try and get some photos to show them Anyone have some decks they would be willing to post pictures of or send to me? email is charlie@apexdecksavers.com These are not for advertising use by me or to be used for any means other than showing the color to a customer who has already signed on. Full credit will be given to the companies who performed the work So yea brown sugar pics would be greatly appreciated Thanks

WTW brown sugar?
bigchaz replied to bigchaz's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Personally I love the honey gold the best. But seems like every other person is a chore to convince them to use it. Everyone says no orange before I even present my proposal to them -
Advice on stripping and re-staing cedar deck
bigchaz replied to mcmja's topic in DIY'ers - Ask The Pro's
If your deck is not too big I would recommend Cabot problem solver stripper/brightner or wolman brand stripper to get the remaining stain off those railings. Its costly to use on a large area, but for a one time deck it will save you from having to order a commercial grade stripper. Like others said let the chemical do the work and use the pressure washer to rinse off -

Dried out Deck
bigchaz replied to plainpainter's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
If the heat is the huge issue, they might want to look into a retractable awning. We put one on the lower portion of our deck and it makes it much nicer to sit out there. Ends up keeping the house cooler too from all the morning sun that normally comes through the sliding doors -
Brochures came the other day too....nice!!!!! Really helps step up my bid folders

Best Clothing for Spraying Seal?
bigchaz replied to fireandrain's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Shorts, shoes and t shirt usually covered with a long sleeve button up shirt to keep the sun off. you can put the collar up in the back to protect your neck. Normally I wouldn't mind the tan, but all these UV index 9/10 days can be killer -
$2000 hose reel.. wow
bigchaz replied to PressurePros's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
you know you have too much money if you spend 2000 dollars on a hose reel. And if you could afford to put those hose reels on your truck you can afford to stay in the office and hire people to do the work...and wind the hose...manually -
