How many of you have trades with deck builders? I know I got several calls asking if i did deck building when I started using yard signs last year. I imagine I could refer those to a deck guy and see if they could refer me the staining
How do ya'll have it worked out?

I just don't think that in the case of obama, someone who can talk well and makes cute little emotional speeches should qualify him for president

Question: How many innocent people are in prison that are sentenced to death? Can you be so sure there aren't? Many people are convicted on circumstancial evidence because of no one witnessing the accused doing otherwise.Rod!~
People may be convicted on circumstantial evidence, but not for death penalty. So few people get the death penalty that they are gonna make darn sure they know the guy is guilty.

18!!!! You cradle robber! I have a daughter - well two, that fit into that range and I'd kill them if they were messing with a 30 year old!!!C :)

I always thought firing squad was a pretty effective method. They use some machine and aim like 5 guns at your head, so its not like their gonna mess up. One state still offers it as an option. Should be the norm though

Go with a darker color oil. Cabot decking stain is less transparent that things like ready seal and should help even the color up.
Gonna be hard to match it up perfectly. But def go with a stripper and neutralizer, especially on the older ones to lighten them up as much as possible

Ive thought about it, but for I'm only doing this during the 3 months when Im home from college. How much does an accountant cost? And would it be worth it for me personally, considering most of you make more in a month than I'll make in the year?
Where do you go about finding an accountant? And would an accountant be willing to spend all that time working with someone with no employees and a part time business?
Thanks yall

Getting ready for business to start next spring, and doing tons of tax research. What I cant quite figure out is deductions.
Im curious about deducting start up costs. For instance, Ive already purchased insurance and training information and in the next month possibly some equipment
Can that be deducted on next years taxes? Is there a specific form to use for that?

very informative.need insurance in the Charlotte N.C. area any ideas?
Not sure if you've gotten insurance yet but give JJ Clark a call
Based out of Charlotte so you could probably even stop by the office.
I didn't know a lick about insurance but he answered tons of questions and probably half dozen phone calls from me. For a company that probably doesn't make much off each policy they really were helpful
Number is 704-632-1530

This joe walters guy doesn't seem to be that good of a deal
I know he knows PWing but over a $1000 for 1 mil liability doesn't seem worth it
Ive got 600k for $300 through erie

You can get a good quality echo or even stihl gas blower for reasonable price. Youll be very glad you did. Dont get the 60 dollar blowers and youll be fine.

Echo
and 5 more characters... message was too short apparently

Could you clarify for me what you did on the railings? Did you apply another stain over the behr??
Was this the solid behr stuff or the semi?

For those customers who want the surface of their deck to be stained with a natural color but want the railings white, what do you use?
Everyone has spindle railings around here and apparently the white railings are pretty popular. Curious whether you would do it with a solid color white stain, which seems like it might not cover entirely well or use some form or primer and paint which seems like it would be at high risk for peeling (esp on PT) if the wood hasn't fully dried out
Any ideas?
