  4. Could some here tell me where to find poles up to 24 ft. that I've been reading about here. I have looked at paint stores, h.d., lowes.I found a 23 ft. at h.d. but all the way out it would fold fast. twist lock also . I see the long arm brand alot but not over 18 ft... What have you found to be the best set up for brushing gutters and high tough spots on houses. Thanks as always. TROY
  5. Thanks for the answers guys. Don you are right on the head and I am listening to all. Doug is also right. The owner is the guy saying what he wants and has been told the right way to do it , but I guess can't.He will be able to fix it when it's screwed up thogh! The gc. is a friend and we are trying to do what makes sence for us. The experience is what I'm lookig for so one day I may have an answer here. good niGht all TROY
  6. Thank you for the replies ment to help. Maybe I wasn't clear on the stains. Where the guttters seem to but togeather, the black runs down the wall about 18 inches wide from top to bottom. and as far as cleaning the gutters it's the outside of them not whats in them. It is getting painted this is a prep. I was not asking for anyone to give me MY PRICE I thougt by seeing what other people had done I could compare. Thank you again to those that ask questions and offered thier expertice...troy
  7. I have what will be my 1st comm. job. The GC. is a friend and has ask me to spot clean a stocco on block building. It is 25 ft high with gutters around the top and downspouts every 30 ft.the building is 400x 180 there are black stains from the gutters leaking and the gutters themselves have to be cleaned. The amount of the job I say that will be washed is 30% of the walls plus the gutters and spouts. how would you guys look at this? There will be no recourse from the painter for the whole job not getting done before paint. I'm pricing it as directed by them. any number help and chem. suggestions would be very helpful.I will do the job for the experience but don't need a kick in the teeth just comming out of the shoot. thanks in advance. troy foster

  9. I'm in the process of setting up an enclosed trailer. I am working with tom from ACR,and feel fortunate to have met him. In talking to people in my field,(precast concrete erection.) I may have some leads to some post costruction cleaning and concrete in general. My intention is to set the trailer up with 2 cold units to start with .200ft on a reel ,4.5gpm fixed to floor. with downstreaming set ups, 200 gal on board, deckster, surface cleaner all wands and whips nessary to do jobs the right way, #2 UNIT 4GPM that comes out if needed ,ect. is it wise to go with the cold water for now and rent hot if needed? what is the best low pressure roof set up? can I offer roof cleaning with the toys I have? Any help is greatly apreciated. Thanks TROY PS. MY TARGET IS RED. WORK THE COM. WORK IS COMMING UP WHILE TALKING ON JOB SITES

  11. Rookie

I am going to start with houses and flat work but there looks to be a big market for roofs. thats what I'm trying to read about. How to apply chems. Do you go up and brush? I see what looks to be low preasure set up from the roof guys in fla. I understand you can't blast the cinders off the roof but is there a way to clean them with the set up I'm building.

Hi, I have been reading the information on this site about a week now and decided to sign up. My son and I are starting a power washing business and would appreciate any information that you could offer. We are currently looking at enclosed trailiers to set up a floor mounted unit and a portable one, both running of reals. Any pics or suggestions would be great, aslo any accessories that would be benificial to us. I am also seaking pricing information in our area. Please note this is a side business for me and a opportunity to show my son that earning his own money is an option. We do not attend to undercut or hurt any excisting power washing companies. We are located in south Jersey. Thanks, Troy Foster
