  1. Beth & Rod

Sorry to hear you guys were locked out. Was it all members or just a select few? Perhaps a few members dared to question the supreme ruler and his court? :zipit:

    Sorry couldn't resist.

But as my ol' grandpa used to say, "who needs em, they're only important in their own minds".

Ok now I'm hoping to get Big Red out of intensive care:lgsick: and back on the road :vroom: today. Now I'm back to :lurker:

  2. My house wash is the same as RLS from the gutters down. Roofs are extra and I don't (yet) do windows. Only had one customer even ask about windows and it was a large front window with high arches and it was the only one he wanted cleaned. I used a squeege right after the wash and rinse it came clean and he was happy, (no charge). Ryan how much do you charge extra for the windows? Around here I get anywhere from $180 to $375 depending on the size of the house, this cost does include the gutters (outside). If they want the gutters cleaned out inside that is also extra.

HECK Yeah I'd go back today if they'd have me. Its going on 32 years since I first enlisted and I still Love My Navy. Yes its changed, and no not all of it was for the better. I still work with (at my day job) young sailors and some not so young. I also work with the Marines. I can't think of a better job to have right now than supporting and helping our young Marines and Sailors. The educational opportunities that are there for these kids are outstanding. I'm talking about while they are active duty. Then when they leave (if they ever do) they have a version of the GI bill where they deposit money for college and the government matches funds. I would recommend it to any your man or lady you can't beat it. Not only the Travel, adventure, but the maturing process that takes place is a site to see.

hey Shipmate, I was stationed on the USS Midway forward stationed in Yokosuka Japan in 74 to 76. What ship were you attached to?

I really like this one, it reminds me of me on most days.

    :banghead:

Course with the upcoming Nascar season ready to begin this one is also appropriate.

    :vroom: :vroom: :vroom:

  6. Well said Beth, "Bull Feathers"? is that anything like "Road Apples"? Being raised on a farm in Ok, I know about Road Apples. Like your little rant box as well, cool.

Now I return you to the 2005 Power Wash Season, good luck to all, May your wand always work and feet always stay dry.

Sorry can't be there the weather is suppose to be good and I have jobs that I'm backed up on. Also have to do some long delayed maintenance on "Big Red" (my 2500 dodge diesel 4x4) Hope everything goes good, I'll make a meeting one day I promise.

    Henry

I understand and respect your feelings, I just don't share all of them. I won't say anymore here its all been said other places in as many ways as it can be.

I take my hat off all who are still willing to help those who need it. To the others that want to be members of an exclusive club I say "Good on ya". It was said earlier here by Squirtgun I think that there are many more non-members than members and I don't need or want another case of the minority dictating to the majority what will or won't be done. I too don't agree that they are the Voice of the Industry.

    Just me.....

  8. I checked the PWNA site today like I always do and I can't see it. Thought I had done something wrong.....not me I'm just locked out it all. Not a Member, Do not enter here "Members Only". Ok I says, I go to ***, TGS, Delco as well. Most times PWNA had nothing new where TGS has something new almost every day. I for one won't miss it. I could see the hand writing on the wall the past few months. There were/are a select group who want to require special licenses, ect..... I could see PWNA moving in the direction of tighter controls, either get onboard with me or your against me.

Beth, Ron, Hopefully you guys don't intend to shut your boards down anytime soon.

Just an observer from the outside

  9. WOW!!!

course in IN you folks are used to heavy snow probably don't get excited till its over a foot deep. Here the 1.5" we got they let out school early, had 2 hour delays this morning. People left work early to get in the 2 hour line to go home. Don't even try to get a loaf of bread or a gallon of Milk. Lord Have Mercy if we get over 5/6 inches, everything shuts down. Course with the maniac drivers we have thats not a bad thing, hard enough for them to drive on a sunny dry day.

So back to your deal, just how much snow is that looks well over 6". jk really how deep is it?

  10. Yes its ready and installed, I just voted and replyed to your poll in Snow Plow. Got 1.5" yesterday not enough to work with. They say this weekend maybe more, works for me. That is if you folks up North don't hog it all like ya did last year. Send some my way will ya?

    haha
