  1. Dale, Check your MSDS, the pH of percarbs is around 9. Try the brightener afterwards, you'll be amazed. Reed
  2. Tony has a picture or two on either this board or WoodCare.org board of medium brown. If my old timers memory isn't failiing me he has used the darker browns before. Maybe he can repost the pics. Reed
  3. That is the TRUE definition of a monster. GET PICS. Reed
  4. Tony, I use the stainless steel pool brush. Doesn't take much elbow grease to get them up. Mind you, that not all of the outer ring from the stain will come up, but most of it will and I am like Everett, I stain over it. If they sh*t on it once, they'll do it again. Reed
  5. R&R floorboards?

I charge 75.00 per hour + cost of materials. My standard fee for board replacement usually averages about 125.00 Reed
  6. Strippers

No hd80 will harm siding, but you take the precautions of constantly wetting and rinsing to handle that. Reed
  7. Camel Spider

Those are the spiders we saw in Desert Storm when I was in Oman. Big suckers and they can jump. Reed
  8. Bryan, you didn't post the link? :) Reed
  9. Wish I could find a solo here. No distributors or retailers in the entire St Louis area.
  10. That's a great price Ev. Just getting homeowners to realize how much product has to be used is a tough one. Reed
  11. John, not questioning you or your methods, but $40.00 for stain? If you have 100 lin ft, this usually is about 12.5 6x8' sections, or 96sf per section, you are going to need at least 8 gallons for that many sections with a coverage of 150sf per gallon. Reed
  12. Finally a boy

CONGRATS JON, got two grandsons here, can't wait to take them hunting. Reed
  13. Tribute to our Military

Thought I would share this http://www.armedforcestribute.com/ Reed
  14. All the above, I employ all listed to stain. Reed
  15. Looking for some help this season in my area. Must be able to withstand hot weather, ruin some clothes, and show up to work. Starting pay, 10.00 p/hr. Contact Reed
  16. How's your aim?

  17. If kept in a closed container not too air tight, it can last just like the oxallic i mentioned. Reed
  18. Percarb cleaners have a shelf life for sure, usually about no more than 4hrs. Oxallic CAN be mixed the night before and will maintain its strength. I have used oxallic that has been mixed at 2lbs per 5gls, max strength, that is several weeks old and never a problem. Reed
  19. Customer Service

Thanks Jesse, Look forward to meeting you. I will scout around for you with the chlorine and let you know. Reed
  20. Customer Service

I have dealt with Russ and Beth for years. You will not find better customer service. Russ's brain is packed with chemistry "stuff" and Beth knows all aspects of the business. Kudo's to you both, you make the industry better all the time. Jessie, give me a buzz the next time you are up this way to St Louis, I'm in St Peters. PS, do you do any hunting down your way? I need a place to deer hunt. Reed
  21. I'm not always so serious....

Great looking couple, now get her a harley and you both will be happy :D: Reed
  22. pressure drops

Ditto on what Alan said. When you get leaks from the supply line of water or if the supply water pressure isn't great enough you can get these "pulsations". Also check that inlet filter. All three can be a source of the drops. These are good places to start before moving on to the internal parts of the pump. Reed
  23. Your plan is a good one if you feel good about it. I offer one bit of advice about the back pack. When you fill it with the oxallic after cleaning everythinng, rinse the outside of the backpack thoroughly before you strap it on. You don't want the oxallic to soak into you clothes and get on your skin for a long period of time. I use oxallic rather than citrallic just as a personal choice. Take your time with this first one and do it right. Once you get a few under your belt, you will develop your own technique and speed will come naturally. Good Luck. Reed
  24. Oh NO, not the bleach issue again. reed
