Tony or Russ, with the boost added, how is it to spray? Is it thick and will have trouble getting it through my deckster? reed

jBig Bill, stop, you are killing me. Nothing like a mudpuppy, crab and shrimp boil. Try some Tony Checeree ?sp. Great kick to add to the Zat's. I use the Zat's also. Some time will use the liquid Bombay shrimp and crab boil. Jon, Oh yeah on the Iron Butt. Still trying to decide which seat to change to. Thinking about the sundowner two up seat, but the road sofa has my interest also. Been raining here for two solid weeks at least every other day, can't get anything done, so no money for bike stuff. reed

F-18 Performance
reed replied to CCHSNC's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Yes you can use the citrallic after the f18.. You can go as high as 80 ounces of F18 in 5 gallons if you ever need something that strong and it will disolve in cold water. Try about 40 to 50 ounces in 5 gl. and watch that white just slough off. reed -
Has anyone noticed?

One more thought, you mention pressure treated not cedar. I rarely get any furring with pt wood as apposed to cedar. With cedar, just count on it. Especially with the hevy duty strippers available. reed -
Send some my way, can't find any mudbugs worth a hoot here. That is the #1 reason I make a trip to Nawlins every year, mudbugs by the lb. and of coarse an ICE COLD Beers. reed

Celeste, just order the RS or WoodDefender. You don't have to guess when you are going to get some stain. The wooddefender will work as with RS if you do things the right way you do them. WHERE THE HELL IS THE SUN????? reed

Comparison Testing

I would especially if I knew I could get off what one or the other didn't. This is a great opportunity to test run the "arsenal". reed -
F-18 & F-8 Results
reed replied to Celeste's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Have you tried the f10 yet? I did a trex deck with f10 and then put on deckbrite from Rowlette, worked great in removing the dreaded "Trex Black Spot". Great job Rog and Celeste, reed -
Jon, of the days I CAN remeber, I sure do miss the late sixties also. Never knew you could fly so high without mechanical help. reed

Pressure Treated Fence questions

Either Sunbrite's Severe Strip or HD80, which I hear they are carrying now. Dwell time is going to be the key. Contact Pete Marentay at Sunbrite and he can you on the right track. From the looks of the failed stain on your fence you are in luck. Shouldn't be too hard to remove. reed -

Choice Composite Decking
reed replied to seymore's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Did a bid yesterday for a Trex deck that had the dreaded Trex Black Spots. I plan to use a little SH or should I use the composite cleaner that trex has out? I have 3 gallons of the cleaner, but haven't used it yet. reed -

I bet he was dancing. Ipe and the exotics look so good after washing you hate to stain them. reed -

Beth, What finish did you go with? I have a Brazillian Redwood coming up the first part of May. I am going to use Cabot's Australlian Timber Oil. The staining of Ipe and other exotics I know can be quite a pain. I sure like the looks of the one you have above. reed
