  4. Hey Reed

The King is running great. You know you never have enough chrome. I changed out the bars to the RK High Bar, made a big difference in the long runs. I was thinking about changing the seat, but the price is a little too high right now. I am getting a color matched trailer for the bike. Will hold up to 9 cu ft of storage. Have been saving for it for some time. We are going to need it this June when we take our trip to the Smokey Mountains and Ride the Tail of the Dragon, ( www.tailofthedragon.com ). Looks to be quite a ride. We have 53 bikes going, www.livetoride.com . We did a March of Dimes Bikers For Babies in October that netted the second Highest donation to the M O D, 250,000.00, second only to Los Angeles. We had about 100,000 bikes and riders. here are a few pics. Reed
  5. Beth, That was my hardest adjustment when I retired from the Air Force. Putting up with managers that were given the job just out of attrition (?sp) and not because of qualifications. That's where I drew the line and said never again will I work for someone who is less qualified than Me for their position. Now I work for me and my family. I am the boss and the only one I need to ultimately please and be satisfied with outstanding quality is me. Though I admit, I never seem to be completely satisfied with the work I do. There always is room for improvement. I love this "Retired" life. Reed

  9. When and where do you vacation?

We do a winter vacation, leaving this Jan 10 for the Mayan Riviera, have to see the Mayan Ruins. And we do a summer, usually in the first part of June for a week, going to the Smokies on the Road King. Reed
  10. I too have had great results from F-18. And I do use HD80. Have been using HD80 for 4 years. I will keep both on hand in that they each have a purpose and use. I do find the f18 gentler on me than the the HD80. Both are great products. If you like the F18, try some of the f13. I was amazed with it on my own vinyl siding. Reed
  11. There's a big billboard here in St Peters advertising that service too. Too funny. reed
  12. Got this from some huntin buddies, not hunting related. New Sofware Problems Dear Tech Support, > > >Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6 no longer run, crashing the system whenever selected. I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the un-install doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help! Thanks, A Troubled User. (KEEP READING) REPLY: > > Dear Troubled User: This is a very common problem that men complain about. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to un-install, or purge the program files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child >Support. I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear 3.2" to alleviate software augmentation. The best course of action is to enter the command C:APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and >Do Bills 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0... and ultimately, Cruise to the Caribbean 10.5! WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system. Best of luck, Tech Support enjoy, reed
  13. No offense meant, but this is cute

I bet there is. I would like to see it too. reed
  14. This item is getting heavy, I mean HEAVY, radio ad time here in the St. Louis area. Does anyone know anything about this product. www.sealmaxx.com Reed
  15. No mention is made on their website. And they don't have any testimonials up yet. reed
  16. No offense meant, but this is cute

Also, wife 1.0 program can lead to a temporary malfunction every 28 days that causes all other programs to run weird. And you can count on adding lawyer 12.0 and alimony 10.0 if you try to remove wife 1.0. reed
  17. The leading home remodeler in our area who has his own radio show states "he has investigated the technique, which is a 5 step process, and highly recomends it". My question is does it really last 25 years since the product hasn't been around 25 years? Reed
  18. Also, I might add in here that you may need to brighten after cleaning especially with a percarb. You can't count 100 percent on the percarb to brighten effeiciently. Yes it will brighten on it's own, but it has been my experience that it needs help to get the neutralization/brightening that one should strive for. Reed
  19. SCORE: Deers 1 - Hunters 0

Headed out to the woods tomorrow late morning and will stay until Friday evening. Have to do some part time heart scanning Saturday morning, then head back to the woods Saturday afternoon and stay until Sunday pm. Reed
  20. SCORE: Deers 1 - Hunters 0

I got my button buck at Busch with a 50 cal muzzleloader inline. Love the historical method hunts. I have filled 2 doe tags, and hoping to get Mr. Big Buck with the "smoke pole". Reed
  21. SCORE: Deers 1 - Hunters 0

Good hunting. can't wait to see some pictures Reed
  22. SCORE: Deers 1 - Hunters 0

I got a doe on Sunday and a button on Monday (conservation management hunt). Cover scent on the boots, OK, but estrous scent in a highly populated area is asking for a wrestling match. Reed 2 Deer 1, that's my score so far. The deer scored one when she walked up withing 10 feet of my back side when I was still hunting and she snorted just so I could see that she was teasing me. You know how fast they can dart away, and I know she was laughing all the while she was. Going out tomorrow for the end of rifle season, then after thanksgiving for smoke pole (muzzle loader- my favorite). Reed
  23. 3 coats of CWF-UV or multiple coats of Behr S**t. :) reed
  24. SCORE: Deers 1 - Hunters 0

This is peak rut here in the midwest and if the ratio of bucks to does is good, the bucks really get aggresive. That is one of the reasons manufacturers tell you not to put attractants on your clothing. That guy was lucky it was young small deer, now if a 4 year old 10 point had tried that, the gentleman may not have faired quite that well. I'm glad he's ok. Reed
  25. A Note from Jon.

Man, sounds like macular degeneration. Nasty stuff. My mother has it and there is nothing that can be done for her. A little on the old side of life, whereas Jon is getting a jump on it I hope and pray. Thank goodness Jon is getting something done early to where they may be able to arrest it. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. Reed
