  2. Prices on jobs?

sorry, I got another on board and made about a 12% margin. What stain do you prefer caolina, what seems to work best for you in the great state of SC? I am a vergin with stain. I am aware respect will obviously not be handed outl, I will try not to elaborate on things I know little about. I am hear to learn and not to teach. I hope that qualifies me, my partner is the money and labor, and he knows little. So therefore the guidance of my seniors is truly appreciated and will not go unnoticed.
  3. Prices on jobs?

allthough I would like some input on what to charge for staining. I have only stained decks and to be quite honest I flat rated it, it was a friend and I regreted the helll out of it, 1/2 way through the job I GOT
  4. Prices on jobs?

    not linier, yes fencing
  5. rectifier, blowing fuse!!!!!

OFF. WELL I just replaced the wiring on the kohler. One more for you all, when investigating the box, the other wire on my therm is the temp probe, obviously a single strand, the waxy coating has rubbed down on a small piece, will wrapping a piece of electrical tape tamper with the acuracy of the therm. or, since its a single srtrand and ts all intact, just a tiny bit of coating is off, not fool with it. IE: replace it all, or do nothing. thanks for the advice, BTW. how do you change your name. I did not think this site would be as informative as it is when I signed on, therefore I am starting to regret my identity
  6. rectifier, blowing fuse!!!!!

Gras si us. actually the red wire from the thermastat control was raw in a few spots. I replaced it cortrectly. The guy I got my rig from did some shotty wireing; I went and cut it ALL
  7. Chlorine Bleach vs Oxygen Bleach vs Oxalic Acid

intresting Tampa. All I know is when I was a kid we would run clorox through the pressure washer and go through 10 bottles and cover a house with it. As far as oxalic acid goes, I perfer it over hydrochloric when removing staines on yachts and boats. Its truely amaising how, If applied correctly can turn a hunk of yard trash boat into a gistening white gem. Just got to de oxadise and wax and your sitting pretty
  8. rectifier, blowing fuse!!!!!

:banghead: :banghead: Sorry, SORRY I Hit It 2 Times times
  9. rectifier, blowing fuse!!!!!

wireing ?. on rectafier the b+ or middle of the 3 the outer wires go to the staor. there is a wire going to the oil sentry/solinoid and with that is a wire with no home. there are 3 wire coming out the rectafier and the middle (violet) has no home. so 3 wire ends have no home. do they all join. I have a hydrotek ss hotbox w/ 14 hp kohler. Does the fuse blowing have any association with this. I am guessing the middle wire from rectafire, violet wire fro key switch and Black wire from control box all join. could the therastat have anything to do with this? Whats the best Way to bypass it to check and sere if its working? Hope I am making sence, Its a 30 amp fuse off the starter solinoid that a blowing., I swear there are 30 laying on the ground in my trailer
  10. Job lead 6 KFC WIlson NC

Well I hope you consider me. I will be doing a hess station in washington NC and several down here as well. CCobb looks like he may have gotten it and be a little closer, but i am on the road a lot, since VandV Commercial Linings the first buisness that led to this one since we needed 2 hydro teks w/ hot-steam capabilities to clean the substrate in order to prepare it for a polyurathane coating. This is a usefull forum, and I am exited about learning a lot.
  11. Prices on jobs?

Hey Ryan, I am the new guy. I think that is a case of bait and switch. If I encountered a customer who said they said they will do it X, I would not talk down about them but i'd say am, I don't know about that, but if you choose to go wiith me I will HONOR the price I quote you, I will use PREMIUM products and show you those products if you like as well as validate that I am fully insured if you choose. If that does not work go on to say that I have soe references, pull out your phone ad begin to call and she will say no. But I would not be used car salesmanish. I would tell her myu work speaks for itself and will lqast how ever any years. When It coe to stains or sealents I get techno on them and talk about boring stuff like the UV inhibitors in Thomsons VS cwf uv 40 for example. Usualy when someone wants a fence done they have made up there mind to do it, but not who will do it, therefore if your sales ptch is honest and sincere, and for me, if I use words like HONOR, Premium etc. Its build trust and seperates use good guys from the shadey cats out there tryin to get some $ for some rock. I did not read all the replies so sorry if I am stateing the obvios. My priceis .75-1.50 per linier sq foot. Nice job on the deck seymore! I likee the CWF UV 40 in Ceder, but Grey away gold looks damn nice. From the new guy
