A 13 hp Honda engine will last for about 2000 hours. The pump is the weak link but will still last a few years of moderate work. -

And the burner stays on why????
R. Williamson replied to One Tough Pressure's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Alan, Typically when I see this problem it is the pressure switch. With your ohm meter check the wires coming off the switch with it still in the case. The plunger sticks up slightly and leaves the switch activated. The reason I say this is because all the other components fail causing an open circuit not a closed circuit like you have. -
want to try downstreaming, but first...

The longer Simple Cherry is mixed with chlorine the less it will smell like cherry. Simple Cherry does not completely mask the smell of chlorine just helps hide it some. -
I don't personally know Russ, but every post I have seen from him has been spot on and everyone that does biz with him I talk to says how great his service is! This will be a great chat.

5.6 gpm gear drive. What is your opinion of these gear drive units?
R. Williamson replied to POWERMEN INC's question in Residential Pressure Washing
It's the keyways I have seen fail at higher hp, not the gearbox. -

I think the small containers would not be cost effective for Simple Cherry. The bottles, labels and packing would increase the price by about $6.00 -
Sounds like you have a flow type unloader. You need to increase the nozzle sizes.

I have been pressure cleaning since I was a kid, I have never seen that happen! -
The term expert is subjective from the view point of the person calling someone else an expert. If you call yourself an expert I think you are just waiting for someone to come by and prove your not. I prefer the word "proficient". Websters defines it as: well advanced in an art, occupation, or branch of knowledge. We all have new things to learn. An expert to me says that you are the absolute best at what you do. The way I feel is no matter how good you are there is always someone better!

Can you get your Burner to Burn Hotter?
R. Williamson replied to 4running's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
If your stack temp is at 200 degrees your coil is absorbing as much heat as it can. A stack temp higher than that is just a waste of fuel. -

I would not go with more than a 16" surfacer with that pressure washer.
