  1. A World meeting for all Powerwashers

You can usaully get cheap flights to Vegas, not sure about the cost for a place to meet at though. I think Atlanta would be best. But I like the thought of Myrtle Beach (GOLF) free chemical for longest drive! As far as time of year I like the cold months best.
  2. Favorite Fast Food?

When I was cleaning we did a lot of Dennys, Wendys and Bob Evans, they use to give us free food. I gained a lot of weight from the pie & ice cream at Dennys.
  3. Favorite Fast Food?

When my Wife & I are in Phili visiting her family WAWA coffee is a must!
  4. A World meeting for all Powerwashers

I know a few manufactures that would pay for banners. I think that between manufactures and vendors that all costs could be covered if it's not to fancy!
  5. A World meeting for all Powerwashers

Sell booth space, so the vendors pay for everything and the attendies get in and eat for free!
  6. chemical?

Both are alkaline. So both have a high PH balance, it depends on the amount you mix how high your ph balance is.
  7. Gpm

That was with F-18. With 8 GPM you can walk at almost full stride with a 30" surfacer.
  8. Gpm

Alan, The difference is huge! At one time I was using 14 GPM. That is not possible in a lot of situations though. The impact at the surface has much more force with 8 GPM, so every revolution of the bar you remove more dirt, oil, etc. per pass of the bar . Which lets you push a surfacer faster without stripes.
  9. Ipe deck stripping

Both stripped the sealer. The F-18 side is brighter which indicates the F-18 has a lower PH balance. Even after brightner/nuetralizer was applied the F-18 side was brighter.
  10. Website feedback

Cool site! Graphics take a while to load though.
  11. Spare Parts?

There is not just one thing that can shut you down, there are many! O-Rings are a must. If you can a backup cold unit is very handy! As more people post you will see there are much more things you should carry.
  12. Pssssst!! Guess what?

    Spill the beans!
  13. Marine vs Regular battery for ShurFlo

West Marine & Boaters World are great places to buy all kinds of things for pressure cleaning rigs, All kinds of 12 volt stuff, hoses, fittings, gas tanks & fishing pole rack holders work great for lances. And lots of STAINLESS!
  14. Mildewcide

F-13 is a potassium hydroxide (alkaline) based product with 5% by weight. F-13 is a general purpose degreaser that works well on siding and also gutters. It can be diluted up to 100-1, for general house washing I recommend 40-1. It can be mixed with sodium hyporchlorite to kill the mildew. Be sure to mix in a container that can breath. Only mix what you need, after mixed it will have a shelf life of about 2 hours.
  15. reels

  16. Florida based companies.

Henry, What date are you going to be down there and how many people. I may be able to get you some restaurant gift certificates. Disney stopped giving free tickets to their employees that is how I used to get them for people.
  17. How old is this thing

I ran a couple of those Briggs I/C engines. Nothing but trouble.
  18. Finally hooked two machines together.

500 gallon tank and fire hydrant permits.
  19. Finally hooked two machines together.

    I used a 40 hp Wisconsin.
  20. Finally hooked two machines together.

This is a picture of the 3417 Cat that I used to use. Its puts out 14 Gpm @ 3000 PSI. Now it collects dust. I also used to connect two 5 GPM pumps. I preferred the two 5's. Although this Cat did eat up some flatwork. To give some perspective the manifold alone weighs as a much General TS 2021.
  21. Gas Station Canopies

Don't forget the electronics in the pumps themselves. I does not take much water to mess up a credit card reader.
  22. Looking for a hot box.

Good choice! Next you need to buy the pressure washer that will work with the hot box you will buy in the future. If you decide to go with an oil burner your options are 12 volt or 115 volt models. If you decide on the 12 volt buy a pressure washer with a 20 amp charging circuit and enough room to mount a larger battery to keep up with the need of the burner. The 115 volt will require a generator.
  23. Steve, Is this the kind of gun your talking about. http://www.racenstein.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=Racenstein&Category_Code=AA-AQ-WIN
  24. bullet nozzle

Bullet, shooter and that thingy that shoots a straight stream of water up to 40 feet depending on the GPM of your pressure washer. This is the method that I have used for years. Adams injector to apply chems. The use of various nozzles depending on the situation. If you use a 0040 nozzle it will pull chemical and shoot about 40 feet depending on the GPM of the pump. This nozzle gives you a bullet stream, but the pattern is round and tight. So I use a round steam nozzle blank, drilled the correct hole size to match an #40 orifice. The steam nozzle has about a three inch barrel and the pattern is more of a fuzzy bullet ( for lack of a better term ) that allows you to more evenly apply the chemicals and still shoots the chemicals to the same height. If you want this method to apply chems with a ratio of about 4 to 1 ( depending on the GPM of your pump ), plumb a Shur-Flo pump into the chemical pickup line that goes to the injector. the will boost the injection rate.
