  1. my new toy

Kinda makes me feel like I am out of the league around here......
  2. Alum Siding Issue

Hard for me to tell, but it almost looks like something ate the paint from the aluminum. Are you sure it is not simply bare/corroded aluminum you are looking at?? I hope I am wrong, but.....
  3. Water power car flight

Looks like they needed a ball valve to help set it down a bit more gently....
  4. torsion or leaf spring

When I started my search, I was told to spend the extra money and get the torsion. The quality was better, less sway, less bounce, etc. The equipment would not get as beat up, the chem/water tanks would not be bounced as much (as in less chance for tanks splitting jugs splitting from the stress etc...) thereby helping save in the long run. I have yet to get a trailer (hopefully in the spring) so I have no clue what I am talking about. Again just what I was told.
  5. Synthetic oil?

I have been wondering this same thing for a while now. I run synthetic in most of my other motors. hhhmmmmmmmm
  6. Be careful when mixing chems as well. Don't add the water to the sprayer after the chems are in there. Put the H2O in first and add the chems to that. Could be bad juju if done in reverse.
  7. You can always sticker the boards so they won't warp or cup. 3/4 X 3/4 inch lumber maybe 2 foot long. Put these on the floor every 2 - 3 feet. Lay down your lumber single height on the stickers. another set of stickers where the lower ones are. Another layer of boards. If you can, top off with a layer of stickers, and lay something heavy on the top stickers. This will allow them to dry while they cannot move. This is the method they use when kiln drying lumber. Let me know if this does not make sense, or if you want more information.T Todd
  8. Local theft of logo!

Actually, I am 43 and have a grandkid. I just never learned how to grow up?? If I ever gave up the 'busa, the Beemer is the direction I would go. Nice lookin' ride. Sorry to jack the thread.
  9. Local theft of logo!

Beemer sure is nice, but I still prefer my Hayabusa. :lgsideway
  10. Ken, Instead of buying a cable, buy a generic card reader. Just pull the SD, Xd, etc. from your camera and load it into the card reader. Wally World.
  11. Contract in Word Doc

Since I have been working on writing my own (Without much luck at legaleze), any chance I could get a copy as well? If someone is still in the giving mood? Thanks, in advance, for all of your help. JET-A@msn.com Todd
  12. The sodium hydroxide worked like a charm. I will try to get some pictures up to show how it turned out. I do not yet have a hot water rig, so that was out of the question. Thanks again for the help everyone. Todd
  13. I just happen to have some here. Do you adjust the dwell time for the vinyl?
  14. Hi everyone, I am just getting started in the industry, and would like to ask a question. I have a house where the oil tank filler has a leak, and the vinyl siding has turned brown from the stain. What would everyone think would work best to get that out? I don't wian to destroy the siding. I have done a search... a lot of info about oil stains on concrete, just not vinyl siding. Thanks, in advance, for the help. I will eventually get to set up a signature line. Thanks, Todd A Clean Finish LLC
