Watching epic Indian movies with subtitles. -
It sucks now!! Over four and half feet for the month of Jan. My kids have been out of school since the Holiday break it seems and a foot is a possibility next Tues.
-
Yes, over another foot last night. Breaking all records for snow fall for a month. Want to ship kids south >>>>>>> !

OK, were supposed to get a dusting this morn and it hasn't stopped snowing over 3 inches so far. A 90 minute school delay and bus can't make here and a foot tomorrow night. Most snow ever for Jan..

Ashton Cabernet's. I have a client who sits me down to have one after maintaining his deck every year( last 4). Then my wife bought me a box.

big deck, cheap bid
James replied to Chappy's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Before I even attempt to quote or do a test spot on a job like that I ask how much the budget is and did they have any idea of the the future up keep. Most are clueless. -
help on a beach house bid
James replied to master blasters's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
When mold is that bad precarbs are worthless unless you add Noah to it. Bleach works much better and you can add Noah to it for a boost. Not hot water( sumtimes hot water) but heated water is great for pre-cleaning and knocking off thick mold so chems work better. Hot water softens up the hard mold and over 150 degrees starts to kill it. I always go over the under sides with just water and pressure first and do them first. I wood work my way up from the first floor up on a job like this. Knock heavy stuff off with pressure apply strong solution to floor and spindles, clean underside 2nd floor w/hot water and work your way up. Then when your done with a row of 3 Xjet that side with a weak solution of bleach all over and just rinse .U could also do all the floors with a floor machine first mechanically . -

Maybe you could start a business cleaning everywhere Brett Favre has been ? Could be quite a good way to start , don't cha know hey. -
Just paid $3.40. Oil is heading to 100 a barrel gas prices of 3.50 to 3.75 to follow. This really sucks !

Fence Restoration
James replied to weathershield's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Interesting point Beth. The creation of food sources for mildew growth is a topic that hasn't been touched . Some types of sealers with linseed oil attract these more than others and contribute to the acceleration of mildew growth. Even though they have mildewsides in them the surface attracts the foreign matter like pollen. Some sealers are like "Mold Magnets". -
I want to gain 20 pounds and not exercise. Eat butter and cream rich foods 3 times a day. Down a 3 quarts of soda a day. This diet may add 80 pounds by years end and be a new TV show ? I don't think I could do it and would probably take another year to straighten things out?

Fence Restoration
James replied to weathershield's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I can only report on my results. Results in the southwest have no bearing on what I get in New England. The results are and have been consistent . It's the Climate Zones across the country for humidity that are important to me. Az is in the driest. -
Fence Restoration
James replied to weathershield's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Mark, I am glad your having such luck with the product out in Az. I have had no so luck here in Ct with the product. Mildew being the main issue. Areas with direct sunlight and overhangs look good. The Grey has been the best color for me so far and easiest to at least re-clean. Some stuff is just black after 2 years. I will still use it on a limited bases for certain projects. Climate must be taken into consideration when selecting a sealer. You need to compare like areas with a product. -
Go to some snow plow sites

Way overboard with the Santa stuff.

2 weeks ago while at Friendlies with wife and 9 year old son we were deciding on what toppings and ice cream to get. They have the choices of different brand candies like Reese's and others. The waitress comes over and my 9 year say's I'll have the vanilla ice cream with Feese's all over it. She could stop laughing and the booths to each side started laughing. A cherished moment forever !
