To the people who bought a palm nailer how do you like it and was it a success . -
Go back when it's completely dry. You might see a difference . I've done a few mable and limestone patios with brutal staining and the stain comes out when it's wet but looks good dry.

Cedar Deck stained with RS Pecan
James replied to Patrick Rhea's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Not all of the prior stain was remove during stripping . When that happens the neutralizing process doesn't work in the ares which are dark . Why , because there is still finish there. -

Who still bangs the physical labor part of your business over 50yrs of age??
James replied to John T's question in The Club House
I'm still banging. My wife does all the paper work and scheduling , setting appointments for quoting and phone work. I quote all work . Had two washing trucks going and a wood prep/staining crew going in the spring but we got killed by the rain and got rid of the wood crew and some wood work . Quit 2 houses and a few decks. .Loosing college kids this Friday . Have a Craig's list ad going now for help. All I can say is wow ! 15 responses in a few hours and more after that. -

James replied to John.Harper's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
You have to hit the whole deck with the same concentrate of bleach solution to even out the bleach stain. -

How long is to long: Recoats
James replied to Trevor C.N's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
The darker the color the more problematic on the floor and top hand rail. This issue with some products is if you have done a maintenance many times just the color is coming off and oil is still in the wood. This means not much product goes in and the spread rate goes to 400 square per gallon. After two years I take the color off . -
I had a mint MGB before for the kid and trailer . A very sad day indeed watching it drive away....... I just remembered I drove it too the guys house for my last drive with my son and dropped it off. Almost kept driving by !
