I highly recommend test spots and carring as many products to strip finishes as possible. It is get getting worse out there!! be prepared ! I just lost a few jobs for the cost but nobody else can do it . So slowly people will find out what they need to do. Write a blog about new products that suck!!!!! -
Help me find this stain . . .
James replied to Keth's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
tWPee Pee or extreme salutations had a continuous wiping stain for hard woodies. The method of application was stroking until a nice patina is achieved. 20 minutes intervals are recommended depending on the age of the wood. l -

James replied to RPetry's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Yes Ricky, spring blows this years! Just put off a very large job because of the date I had to have it completed by. To cold to strip . The average temps in April are high of 60 and low of 35. Not to good for restorations and stripping here. switching to maintenance mode. -

Stock and Price Re-evaluation
James replied to Tonyg's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
PT decks take more oil but can be done faster. Hard wood decks take less oil but are more labor intensive. Cedar is in the middle. Severe strip jobs take more stripping product and labor.
