  1. Galvanized Storm Windows

It could be the caulk bleeding out around the window. ( try degreaser)
  2. Ken you are correct that the type of finish you apply determines the final results. Non- drying oils will work better. I have to go...........
  3. Monday I made a quote call after a funeral. I don't think they ever had someone that dressed up for a service call. It was a very different responce from " joe public". I use to have a MGB mint condition. The only time I could drive it was after work on quote calls. Got some weird reactions when I would pull up. They felt better that I looked dirty in a nice car.
  4. Experts Advise

Do you have a pressure gage on your machine ?
  5. Jon I don't offer gold as a color any more. I maintain what I've done with it. It does get better with age. This deck I have taken care for ten years. The verticles have been done twice. This year will be time for a complete re-do. This is the tenth time !!!!!! .The surface of the floor after the first application of gold looks blotchy (year later). However it gets better with maintenance . The deck above is in mint condition. The wood is soft to the touch. Because of the Anti- Aging cream I maintain it with.
  6. File was to big- when I reduce my photo's they don't look as good.
  7. gold color deck treated ten times.
  8. Here's another gold this deck is over ten years old.
  9. lances

You can add sections togeather and take apart.
  10. Jon the frst time I used 12 gallons. It takes 3 gallons for annual mant.and I used 7 gallons for the complete re-do. It's do for a complete re-do this sept. The color gold changes to like a bronze color. Sun is an issue with the photo. This will be the seventh year caring for this deck.
  11. yes it's gold- With maint. the color gets darker and rich looking. This customer is very happy. I have a couple of decks in this hood. The picture is in 2003.
  12. I do annual maint. on horizontal's ( deck is still wet). I think this was the forth time ?
  13. Yes give me a day or two
  14. I mix gold and brown for my honey color. Gold looks great with maint. and age.
  15. In the last two days I recieved 5 new deck referrals that were built in the fall. I love new decks!!!
  16. ok , but this not the case or example.
  17. Beth Ive talked about this before many times. Why I started to use bleach. This deck was cleaned with no pressure. You are incorrect in what you stated. Pre-carbs will lift up the wood fibers on cedar and soft woods. Thats why you have to buff the wood some times. With bleach I just kill the mildew. It take's allot of skill and knowledge of the type wood and chems to develope these technique's. Port orford cedar is the most difficult I deal with.
  18. The questions are funny'er. Of course it's Ready Seal L.brown like I said. I have other funny picture's. I could start a series.
  19. Let me tell ya. Port Orford cannot be cleaned with a pre-carb. It will raise the grain. That photo was 4 years ago. I thought it was funny then more funny now.
  20. Your biggest job

Washed the windows on 2500 condo's. It was 3 or 4 months.
  21. Port Orford Cedar deck. There use to be a pool where the hex shape part of the deck is. The old part of the deck had multi coats of sikkens which was ground off along with the fence. Then I let the deck sit until the sun blended the old and new togeather. Bleach was used to clean. Sealed with RS LBrown. 2004 deck..
  22. I hate it (port orford) it's the hardest of the cedar's. When new it is all mill glaze. Most trouble of all the wood I take care of. Unless you like grey untreated wood.
  23. Jon I take care of one Alaskan Cedar and 5 Port Orford decks.
  24. Port Orford cedar most difficult.
