  1. Russ as the warrentor of WTW how are you going guarantee the product against abuse. It seems that your pushing the fact you can extend and thin the product. Most sealers void the guarantee when diliuted. Will you have an instruction sheet with the product and a sliding scale of effectiveness by how much water you add?
  2. Competition: what gives?

Steve before you start marketing or spending more on marketing. Get confident on what you can wash and handel. Practise on friends and relatives houses. This will give you refrences. I see more new people fail from over marketing because they can't deliver.
  3. Did you strip the deck? You could of over applied the product and a residue was left on top. Now it has no place to go except on stuff.
  4. Why PWing?

I started in Residential Window cleaning 20 years ago. When pressure cleaning started to be used by painters for house prep and others doing house washing. I got allot of call's from distraught home owners who couldn't see out of there house. Then I got a call because a deck sealing company sealed all the windows and paint and skylights on the back of a house. CWF.... I said to my self> I can do a better job!
  5. So the results with WTW will be different than the original WT?
  6. Celeste screened in porches are a completely different animal. They are not subjected to as much weathering. So they tend to be more difficult to get any penitration of product. How much cutting of product did you have to do? Did you have to wipe off excess or how did you control product. I did samples with the original WT thinned with mineral spirits without sucsess. It sorta just laid on top of the wood no matter how much I thinned it or rubbed it in.
  7. Celeste can you define your success with Ipe'? Picture's, how long it's been on, maint. ect...
  8. Residential/Commercial??

After a couple years we all find are niche's to keep the average dollar per day where needed. In the last couple of years I started doing cedar sided houses. I'm bidding one now that will take a month.I find when I do a job like this I can break away and do allot of small jobs to break up the mundaneness of being on a long lasting job.
  9. Residential/Commercial??

John your higher pay day's are due to your new machine and out put ? On average my I perfer residential however; some of my largest paid day's have been commercial jobs.

  13. Sunblock?

I use Bull Frog. I've gone from Dark hair to grey. Tanning to burning. Its related! Also doctor's refered Bull Frog for the med's I had to take which made my skin sensitive to the sun.
  14. Is this a scam?

Scam! I ve recieved allot of scam mail lately and from the internet.
  15. Windy pressure washing

Working in the wind increases saftey issues and chemical's drying to fast. Window's and plants become more of a problem because pre- wetting dries up fast.
  16. Raincoat is very difficult to remove! It has some sillycone in it I believe. After you strip it let the wood sit 6 months to a year . Then seal.

Allen do you have the SeelEagle complete system or just the surface cleaner"s hooked to your own system of recovery? Do you do any residential tile or do you think water volume maybe a problem?
  22. It takes a couple of years to form an opinion and know your options. There isn't that many ways for wood prep. Know how to use all the chem's. to solve any situation . Knowing finishes takes longer. Get samples of everything so you can form an opinion on how and why they work. This will enable you to form your own system.
