Mac and cheese- when my 11 year old sons friends are over this dish is one of thier favorites she makes ( from scratch ). One of the kids is very large for his age and does not stop eating the Mac and cheese and has been caught scraping the bottom of the pan and eating the remains off other's plates. I call him Mac and cheese boy!

We just made pulled pork a week ago. Our family is sick of pork made too much! It was great though. Been doing a lot of oriental cooking in the wok . Wife and older son have been making home made sushi which is very good and fun to find ingrediences .

FREE Roof Cleaning Certifications?? Say it can't be so..........
James replied to NJWashingGuy's topic in Business Topics & Tips
All these one day schools and soft washing marketing propaganda drive prices down. I've seen it already with roof cleaning. Prices have gone down which drives house washing down. Had a talk about this yesterday with another contractor . Roofs are driving prices down its a fact. I've been cleaning roofs since 2000 in Ct . I'm starting to see the results of bad jobs becaused I fixed a couple last year done by others. Get prepared for the onslaught of roof cleaners in your area and soft washing marketing propaganda! -

Anyone ever heard of sparkle washing wood siding?
James replied to WoodDoc's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I just developed Sparkle washing and will bring it up in Albany. After hand washing the whole house with industrial bleach wipes. We hang a glass prizims to give that sparkle effect when the sun hits. We can talk about industrial hand washing certification . Read the container and your certified ! We have wipes for gutters too ! Just read the label and your certified ! -
Anyone ever heard of sparkle washing wood siding?
James replied to WoodDoc's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I'm pretty sure you can get a certification in Sparkle Washing. If you used the word sparkle in any advertising for more than 3 years consider yourself certified in Sparkle washing. It is a notch above soft washing. -

Stripping a solid stain off of this deck.
James replied to WoodDoc's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
In my opinion your first step to preservation is to bring it back to nature . Pray and meditate and oil with a one inch chineese brush . This will bring you to a place of peace and a understanding of preservation young grasshopper ....... -
The most influential person to you in this industry & why?
James replied to John T's question in The Club House
Nobody has had more of an impact on the industry I can see other than Cris Tucker Apple Roof Cleaning. He created a new industry within the industry . We now have roof cleaners for every 5 houses in the US. He truly has been an influence in this area. Other people are leaders within the industry but I don't know if there are influential. Other people our specialist within the industry. -
Is there a new generation of exterior wood restoration contractors?
James replied to RPetry's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
All my wood care work is maintenanced based. Which turns into maintaining the property for life . I used to do a ton of yearly of the horizontials which I switched to every other year. Some ipe is still yearly. I have approx 30 customers that have shelled out 20 k in maintenance and I have 50 that have paid 10 k to 15 k in maintenance over the life of their deck .I have 4 that have paid way over 20 k thats because it includes the house restoration .I have 20 sets of garage doors that I do every three years which have mahogany decks which I do every other year that development is 5k a year. Most of these include maintenance from the roof down. I love maintenance. In the last two years I have picked up some very nice annual and every other year cleanings that don't include wood . My clients actually bug me about their maintenance -

James replied to Beth n Rod's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.

A few questions about specializing in wood restoration
James replied to Jason Reider's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Jason , I do yearly , every other year and then complete re do's after the third year. I treat hardwood different than soft wood and look at the environment the deck is in and make suggestions for care . House after the forth year or reccomend doing a side. -

Season's greeting Sir Roger ! Recieved a call from a client who was out in Washington state to get some work done pronto fast because they where going to be selling their house . They had just left Billy and the wife accepted a job with his foundation( like heading it up). I asked if I was being brought along to become the Gate Keeper!
