Just wanted to say THANK YOU to Robert Williamson(Bob) of Pressure Tek for the PT Tipster and the sample of F-18 Max.I received them today and have already put them on the rig. The PT Tipster is heavy duty and hold the tips firmly.I'll be giving the F-18 Max a run at some nasty concrete on a fastfood drive-thru next week.

"lab test"
squirtgun replied to Mountain View's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
We don't do the wood thing much anymore but, when we did we invested in a gauge for the machine,as well as,over sized tips to lower the psi.You learn quickly what size tips will deliver the desired psi. Besides I thought cranking the psi up and down with the unloader was bad for the machine and pump. -
Jon, How about a website.I know a few people whom, might like to share their personal views with this moron.I'm sure he has an email addy......lol.

My new rig was not what I ordered !
squirtgun replied to ken wiggins's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
When we were building our rig I called to see if I could come pick up a machine instead of paying $300 in state freight.Espec is only 2 hours away but, noooooo. The attitude I got was uncalled for and it definitely made a bad impression on any future purchase considerations. -
Just be sure to check the % they will be charging. Some companies get kind of crazy and charge outrageous rates. Here in my part of Ga. there have been several comanies that were shut down for charging upwards of 1000% interest. There were several businesses that used these companies to finance equipment and expansions that went belly up trying to make the payments.

I bought a downstreamer a while back and have twice tried to use it with no success. It will draw to the top of the pick up tube and would go any farther. What is causing the problem? and how can I correct it?

Does anyone add a scent to there chemical
squirtgun replied to dgold42's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Yes it is.You can go up or down depending on how strong of an after smell you are looking for. -
Pollen isn't a major concern when doing house washes,it's gone with the first rain.

Orange or lemon extract from the dollar store will mask the scent just as good anything you'll pay $20 for from a supplier. Also, adding 1/2 a cup of apple scented dish soap works. -

Tools: A clothes line, soft scrub brush, water hose and pump sprayer with soap and water. Spray blinds with soap/water mix, lightly agitate with scrub brush, rinse and allow to dry. It's simplistic but gets the job done. This method is only recommended for vinyl blinds.Cloth need to be vacuumed and wood wiped with a damp cloth then dried.
