  1. Would a tank like this work?

Nathan, Yes a tote tank will work.We had one on our rig before trading with Carolina Pro Wash for 225 leg tank. The biggest concern I have with most totes is the gate valve, often times they a not the highest quality. On most you can replace the valve witha Banjo valve that is muxh most durable and reliable. Make sure you strap the tank down,If I were mounting one in a box truck I would use heavy eye bolts anchored through the floor and 2" rachet straps or have some kind of customer straps made that would allow you the anchor through the floor. Ours was anchor on our rig with u bolts over the bottom of teh basket and through the floor, when I took it off to to give to Roger and Celeste the U bolts were cracking.

  3. Another storm

For the first time since they have been keeping records of the Atlantic hurricane season, there is a 22nd storm of the season. This storm is named ALPHA,it's the first time they have run out of names and had to go to the greek alphabet for names.
  4. Lou, In the past I have heard of people using cascade.
  5. weep holes troubles

Weep holes will usually stop leaking before you are done with an entire house wash.We always to do a final walk around before we pack everything up.Most times the runs can be rinsed clean with garden hose pressure. The trick is to clean the siding without getting water behind it.As stated before and try rinse away from seams and try to avoid rinse at extreme angles. We use the original xjet for most application and rinsing.Ladders and brushes are used where and when needed(windows, sills and frames).90% of the time we use the low pressure tip to put chems on a house, even if that means bringing out an 8' wand or a 24' extension. While I prefer rinsing with the xjet low pressure tip there are times that a 4010 or 8010 are used to rinse. It depends on the amount of dirt, algae and mold present. I used to think the xjet was the end all, beat all solution for house washing.I now know it takes a combination of tools to give the customer a detailed final product.

  13. Need bid help - Office building

Philip, Since you have submitted your bid this may be to late, but here is my $.02 We were asked to just clean the stone work on the church we are bidding. After some serious thought I passed on that idea and let them know cleaning the entire building was the only solution to give the desired outcome they were looking for. It's 120yr old building so it's way over due for a good cleaning from top to bottom. Since your bid is only for the pre-cast,a product like saferestore from eacochem that is safe around glass and aluminum might be what you need.Pre-wetting the brick and windows would/should save you the trouble of masking.I would keep a window scrubber and squeege handy just incase you needed to clean some of the glass. I think the price if fair enough, good luck.

  21. Gas cans filling

Jeff, You might consider moving swapping the location of the tank and skid to make fueling easier. You can build a shelf near the machine and use something like this. You'll still have to remove these to fill. http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=6970&langId=-1&productId=200269574&R=200269574&issearch=19566 Does the rig pull to the right with the tank, machine and hose reels all on one side?
