We got a call today from the hospital in Albany.They have admitted Angela's cousin Denise who has been battling liver cancer for 3 yrs.The doctors feel she is getting near the end and all prayers for her husband,2 teenage daughters and her would greatly be appreciated.

Lance, You can use electrical conduit 3/4" or 1" should work.A muffler shop should be able to bend for you to fit the tank.There are a couple options for the ends.....for our tank the straps required "J" hooks.I'll post a pic of the ends a little later.

Lou, One of the guys that frequents TCN has a rig for sale in Ocala Fl...he's asking $3500.It's an open trailer with a skid and lots of extras.That site is down right now so I can't get you the info but I feel it's a good rig for the $$$ and close enough to drive and pick up. I like the comment about emailing the member offering the unethical advice.Give me a break John T. if that had been any other bbs member other than a BOD member everyone would have jumped on board to read the the riot act as well. A member of the BOD got offended for being "called out" on bad advice and ultimately the PWNA lost a contractor/vendor over it.

OK....I like a good conspiracy theory but it is possible the water went in when the gas was pumped?Check with the gas station you last purchased gas from see if they have had any complaints.On occassion rain water will invade underground fuel tanks during times of heavy rain.If you come to a dead end there... set up a video camera to watch your equipment and catch the punks red handed.Then pour gas on them light them on fire and beat the flames out with a baseball bat

I usually don't wear gloves unless it's cold but,the wife wears them all the time(she tries to keep the chems away from her nails and skin).We have a rubberized gloves that we use for day to day and neoprene for cold weather. We have bought gloves from Kmart,Walmart and other places.....I have though about mechanics gloves...not so much for water protection but to protect against abrasions and cuts.

We saw a guy get dumped from a bucket truck yesterday.The entire side of the bucket sheered away from where it attached to the boom arm.The guy was changing light bulbs in a strip mall sign and fell about 20ft.

Hey John, There was one guy that did want to delete any mention of his name and his posts.. I didn't mean everyone felt that way. Henry, I think it was stated that they wanted their account closed on the PWNA BBS.I also believe I'm the one that said it.After all if I can not access the BBS when why would I need to account?Yes,perhaps I should let it remain and in 6 months or a years see how I feel. For some crazy reason you and other seem to have come conclusion that I don't like any of you.Wow are you guys wrong.Most of you I don't know on a personal level so how could I say if I like or don't like you.Yes, we do disagree on somethings but that is going to happen. Yes,I have a problem with the way a couple of BOD members addressed the non-members on the PWNA BBS.I see no need to come across as degrading and it happened on more than one occassion.They know who they are and if they can live with their comments so can everyone else. I do not wish the PWNA ill will.As I said before maybe some day it will be the Org. that every pressure washing company wants to join. I also think the "Elistist " comment was explained in a previous.John T. you were not included in that view point.

Well stated John. The PWNA will indeed benefit from the wealth of knowledge that was shared by non-members.I think by shutting the door the PWNA has hurt growth of their future membership enrollment. Those 900 non-members that were evicted will not forget overnight.That may take several years and by then a new PWing Org. could have formed by then offering an alternative to the PWNA.

Mathew, You may find that using chlorine on the building will help in getting the last of the vines.The chlorine will help break down the fibers in the vines making them easier to wash away. Then if needed you can use whatever brick restoration chemical you want.I know NMD-80 from Eacochem is highly recommended by Roger & Celeste of Carolina Pro Wash.Give Roger a call he can give you the low down on what the Eacochem products will do.

My complaint has been with the attitude projected by some members of the BOD(not all).That where my reference of "Elitist" and "private club" comes into play.Simply put I feel that is how some on the BOD would like to see the PWNA run. I hope there is no discrimination as to who joins the PWNA.I do feel if my application and $195 were to show up there tomorrow they might consider it though. I asked a few questions on the PWNA BBS concerning non-member particpation after a rather nasty post by someone else and had the riot act read to me.That person basically told me they didn't have time to answer non-members questions and they more or less felt I had no purpose on the BBS nor any right asking questions about the PWNA.Wow,I wonder where the bad taste in my mouth for certain aspects(not all aspects and certainly not all members) of the PWNA came from? I voiced my feeling about shutting down the PWNA BBS to non-members and a BOD member took it upon himself to throw my name into the rumor mill.I didn't get mad about I did laugh alot though. Yes,they can claim anything they want about being the "voice of the industry". Is it 100% true?Maybe and maybe not only time will tell.The guy that lives under the I-75 over pass in Tifton,Ga. claims he is "ruler of the universe" just because he says it doesn't make it true,but time will tell. I don't wish the PWNA any ill will(and yes I have the feeling there are some within the Org. that wish I would go away)I hope that someday it becomes what it says it wants to be and every company in the industry is a member. I can not say I'm sorry for typing the things I do because they aren't directed at any one person.They just are observations of what I see from where I sit on the throne in my universe.

I think they went to the trouble of shutting down so quickly because they wanted squash any questions of why and how the BOD planned on handle the future of the Org. and it's association with non-members.Somehow I think the lock out shot holes in the PWNA's mission statement.You know the part that mentions non-members. The BOD made a choice(locking non-members out of the bbs) and in doing so they alienated a large portion of the industry,that just so happen to be non-members. I am amused by how fast the rumor mill went to work.Ask a few questions and next thing you know,you are trying to take over the world.:lgjump:I'm still laughing about one of them.Too funny. I notice that there has been an eerie silence or a complete about face from some members that were not supporting the lock down when it first took place.I wonder what changed minds and attitudes so quickly?
