Starting tonight and running until 11/21/07 the PWM is having another sale of merchandise. All profits from this sale will be donated to the relief fund Carlos(newlook) is working to set up. This sale was originally slated to benefit the Autism Foundation, but at this time Bob and myself feel that lending a helping hand to our pressure washing brethren should be the PWM's focus for this sale. There is a new selection of items being offered including T-shirts,Hooded Sweatshirts, hats and can coolers. The PWM is not an organization; it is a group of pressure washing professionals that share the same passion for the pressure cleaning industry. As fellow pressure cleaners we see the need to help each other excel in the industry be it with advice, ed

I signed up,but now I can't log on. What's up with that Ken,you don't want me to play? 15yrs of cabinet and furniture building experience should mean I can help someone sooner or later.

Daniel you have really been going out of your way to step on toes lately. Here's another little tidbit you can try to debunk. Hot water freezes faster than cold water.

Pressure Washer Losing Pressure

We replaced our K7 with a ZK1 and couldn't be happier. -
No Dodges for me.Just personal preference. I got rid of 1500 series truck when we started the biz to free us from monthly payments. We used the wifes 7yr old paid for SUV until last week.I bought that vehicle for the family not as a work truck,In the last few months I have put over $1k into repairs and maintenance that I would have otherwise not had to do if we weren't pulling a trailer with it all the time. I wanted another truck for the biz and truthfully needed it.Besides that I work my azz off and deserve a few things in live that I want on occassion. We aren't carrying huge amounts of debit and aside from household bills the new to me truck is it.I'm not putting anymore fuel into the diesel than I was into the SUV and we still have a paid for family ride sitting in the drive way that can act as a back up should the truck ever break down. Jetstream buy what you want, enjoy the hell out of it and don't worry about what other think.I'm certainly not.I love my new truck.

Check the oil level.

You still ask if you should do a $1200+ job for $400 so what has changed? Where do you get the idea that everyone out there owes on loans for the equipment, trailers and trucks?I intentionally bought a reliable used truck because I can do without new,but I wasn't going to buy $2800 POS that wasn't designed to pull the rig we have.
-
The truck I just bought is 4yrs old 71k on the clock and still had warranty on the motor and trans. To get into a good used 3/4 ton truck with less than 100k miles you better be ready to spend close to $25K. As stated before the difference in towing with a 3/4 ton vs a 1/2 ton night and day.I'm never worried about causing an accident.I'm worried about some fool driving near me involuntarily involving me in one. I don't need to buy anything to pad my ego. It's plenty big enough on it's own thank you very much.Everytime I hear or see that type of comment I have to wonder if the person making it doesn't suffer from truck envy.
-
This from a guy who just stepped up to a 3/4 ton after driving a 1/2 ton for almost 5yrs(pulling a loaded trailer).Buy the 2500 you won't regret it. We pulled the trailer with a full tank of water twice last week and never knew it was there.Had I done that with our Expedition or the Silverado I used to own I would have felt the push and extreme when pull starting and stopping.

has to get out and find more work.:lgmoneyey For several months now Angela and I have been looking for a truck so she can have her Ford Expedition back.Today I found one I liked and we are now the proud owner of a 2003 Ford F250 Power Stroke Diesel 4x4.

Maybe for my retirement the kids will all chip in for me to have those extras.I'll finish paying it off by the time I'm 65...........lol. P.S. The color listed on the paper work for the truck is Pewter.

Beth I think they list it as brown.I say it's gold or sand. Scott since getting the boxer puppy I think we will be out of the weim business for as little while.

In addition to pressure washing, window washing, roof cleaning and awning care(we don't get much call for it but it pays nice) we have recently added restaurant kitchen floor cleaning. -
The property owner should be fined as well.
-
No that's an instance of not hiring a company that specializes in only pressure washing.I would venture a guess that the landscape company really had no clue what they were doing when it came to cleaning concrete.

Coupling them together works fine.

Working Cheap In Tampa
squirtgun replied to Apple Roof Cleaning's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Wow........ I didn't realize that havinga wife that worked away from this business made someone a momma's boy. Some people actually like having nice things and in order to get them they both work.Fact is there are many household these days that have dual incomes, millions of them, so there must be a lot more mamma's boys than I thought.Wait until I tell all my friend outside of this industry what they are.The look on their faces should be priceless. -
They taste good chicken fried........lol Here is our newest family member Roxy.

270 Gallon Water Totes worth
squirtgun replied to VanDiesel99's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I can buy them cleaned with new banjo valves for $125 locally. If you can get them for free and sell them for $75 each without a lot of hassle you should be making a nice profit. -
Kevin, No one said noobie wasn't welcome. However, there are a large number of us who feel that we shouldnt be handing someone all the info without them putting in a little effort. If they are to lazy to use the search function they won't get far with the actual work.
-
I also prefer to help those who make an effort to help themselves. There is a search function at the top of the page that will enable you to find most if not all of the answers you seek. The same questions have been asked by hundreds of noobies since these BBS were started and the answers are in the archives. Then if you can't find the answers ask in a post.
