    Looks like we could get as much as 10" of rain if this thing stays it's current predicted course.

    I have a yard full of 60' pine trees and a couple of water oaks that are the same size.Even if we don't get the wind the excess rain by it's self could be enough to bring any or all down and they are all within striking distance of the house.

    On the up side it will put a huge dent in the rainfall deficit we have been struggling with for almost 2 yrs.

    Maybe not... but I don't get why anyone capable of making a living does stuff like that. It doesn't seem right to me.

    They do it because the government has allowed them for generations.They pass the info from one generation to the next keeping the whole family in the game.

    Alternative schools are 1 stop short of juvy or prison around here.There are plenty of kids in our school system that receive what their parents refer to as a "crazy check" because they were taught from an early age if they misbehave in school momma and daddy if there is 1 get a check for them.

    Beth I understand your sensitivity to the situation,but I don't think Rick was trying to offend you or anyone else who has a child with special circumstances.

    I bought the truck, could not say no for 8500.00.

    It is clean as a whistle, and has already gone 200,000 miles!

    It has had the head bolt update, NEW Injectors, and EGR bypassed, and many other Mods.

    The Turbo was replaced 10,000 miles ago, got all maintenance records.

    It hauled Pine Straw on a 5 th wheel set up from Ocala Florida up to Destin and back.

    It has highway miles, from a good ole boy who loved his truck.

    It was a pre divorce situation, long story!

    I will take some pics and post em.

    Yes, the Ford Forum is great, many of the suggested mods already done!!!

    Get a dealership to pull the oasis report from the VIN.It will give you everything the dealer as ever done.

    We a got a call this morning that Angela's 91 yr old grandmother isn't doing well.Yesterday she was unresponsive and they thought she might pass during the night.

    She has been bed ridden for about 7 months and has alzheimer's.Hospice has been helping out for the last few months and she has a DNR order.

    If you all wouldn't mind please say a prayer for the family.

    The float in the carburetor got some trash in the valve seat and wouldn't close so the gas over flowed into the cylinders. When I shut the engine off for the day it filled the crank case with gas. End result is the oil and gas that was in the crank case was pushed through the breather tube down into the carburetor. It filled the cylinders with the oil and gas mix and the pressure sent it out the muffler at witch point the motor fired up, backfired and the top of the carburetor caught fire. I thought that the engine was ruined but Russ fixed it over the phone.

    I was browsing through this and seeing the prices had to wonder what is everyone upset about. Then I saw the date. Diesel high is $4.99 here today and the low is $4.20. Unleaded is $3.50 and up for 87 octane.

    Will it ever stop?

    Circa 1993 at a US base in Germany, and unleaded was $4.00 per liter, so I guess we are still doing pretty good here. I would hate to see what is is going for over there right now.

    With a quick searck I found this from november last year.I'm sure it's higher now.

    "price for diesel fuel in Germany topped today at 1.289 Euro per liter, which equals to 7.15 US$/gal"

    This morning we rolled up to one of our monthly accounts and noticed 2 SUVs and a couple of Crown Vics with blacked out windows in the parking lot.I jokingly told the wife the cops must want seafood bad since the restaurant doesn't open until 11am(it's about 8:30am).

    As I walk around the back of the rig to unroll hoses a guys hops out of one of the SUVs and starts putting on body armor with US Marshals printed on the back:eek:.

    I quickly asked if we needed to get out of their way.He broke out laughing and said they were just staging there and would be leaving in a few minutes.I breathed a huge sigh of relief and went back to setting up for the job.
