It depends on when it is. I might be able to break away and come down. Let me know and I will try to fit it in my schedule. It would be nice to see Don again and others I haven't met yet. Hugh

What do you mean John you can't do that! Cops get busted everyday for going bad. I have see it when I was a Deputy and I knew a few that got fired that I would have never thought they would ever be involved. Hugh

Florida guys (or other "warmer" areas south)...
copgib replied to dpaull's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I am around the Gainesville area and from what I have seen, businesses are not that concerned with stripping their parking lots. The ones that do have regular contractors they have used for many years. Most only go through Property Management Companies and they have there own companies to do it on call. Hugh -
Putting together my new trailer
copgib replied to Curb Appeal's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Joel, Hugh Gibson here. I have my trailer sprayed also and I am glad I did. After about 8-months of use one of my chemical tanks started to leak around the fittings. I check everything everyday but this was a very small drip and wasn't very noticeable. It ate the black coating up and was starting to get into the wood decking when I found it. I had to pull the tank and clean the damaged area and then I bought some black roofing patch material. If will dry and harden and the color will blend in with the rest of the floor and give you addition protection. Just a tip that I had to learn the hard way. After all those months of bouncing around those tanks will all leak sooner or later so keep an eye on them. Take care Hugh -
Rick email me at copgib@earthlink.net I might be able to help you. Hugh

I would have to second Jon's comments. I attended the classes held at Jekyll Island. My wife came with me and she enjoyed relaxing during the day while I was in class. The classes and instructor were very good and the information we recieved was great. I would recommend that anyone who needs or wants to know more about how their equipment operates or wants to do their own maintence and repairs, attend the next class that will be held. If the class topics ever change, I will attend it again myself. Great class and thanks to everyone that was involved in making it so great! Hugh

Check for the o-ring I am sure you blew it out! Replace it and you should be back in business. Hugh -
Well I posted earlier that I had to pay $1.35 per gallon but today I went to my supplier and bought 70-gallons and it was $1.25 per gallon. Now I just need more business to use it all! Hugh

David I don't take them because I am not setup for it and the business right now does not justify it. Also, I never have had a customer ask me to take a credit card yet. Hugh

Lenny, when I was a Deputy Sheriff LEO stood for " Law Enforcement Officer " I am sure this is what it means. Hugh

The Envirospec Technical Service School Jekyll Island, GA - June 11-13 2007
copgib replied to Beth n Rod's topic in Industry News & Events
Jon, I was just there on the island this last Saturday. The buildings do look run down. I checked on a hotel on the Island that was on the water side and even the lobby smell moldy. Quality Inn where I am staying is on the other side from the ocean and was alot cleaner I thought and brighter. The convention center that the training will be at looked like a one story building and the parking lot looked very full when I went by. Overall the Island was very nice. I have heard that some guys are going to stay at the campgrounds on the island. My wife is considering coming with me after all. 50/50 chance of that happening if she can get off work. This traing should be interesting though plus you get breakfast and lunch in the deal. See you there! Hugh -

I just signed up for the Training in June at Jekyll Island in Georgia and I was wondering who else was attending. I will probably stay in a hotel in the Brunswick area. This is about 12-miles from the island. Email me if you are also attending in June. copgib@earthlink.net Hugh -

4Running, are you ok? I see your town was hit by Tornados. The news shows alot of damage in your town. Good luck on the clean up! Hugh -
What do you use to clean Pool Enclosures, X-Jet or do you downstream your mix? Also what chemical mix do you like when clean a screened Pool enclosure? Thanks Hugh
-
Thanks Mike I appreciate the reply. I am sure there will be alot of folks that will state they use the x-jet for everything. The main thing is we all get the job done right. Hugh
