Very true its a whole other charge and doesnt cost that much to add on. I have found in the past some insurance companies dont cover trailer or equipment. It was a large local company I couldnt get them to cover anything but the trucks W/C & GL, they would not cover trailer & equipment. I didnt even know that the 1st year or two in biz, didnt have to much to lose ten, I do now. I said bye bye to them. Dont assume the agent knows what they are talking about always either, double check and ask the right questions and look for it in writing in the policy

I have separate. My trucks are under a commercial/residential auto policy with progressive, so if I am driving a personal vehicle for biz it is covered, the actual trailers are attached to that policy and my equipment in inland marine policy, all are pretty reasonable I think. I figure its all covered and if theres a problem thats between the insurance companies, not unlike any insurance claim

When I moved to my new house I had Two Men & A Truck come and move me. I had my office/extra room at the old house. I brought the guys in and said just the desk and nothing else in the office. So I was sitting out side for about a half hour while they were moving stuff. I walked in the office and the guy had the closet door open and I had a 5 gallon water jug with a hole cut in it with tons of change and a few hundred in dollar bills and I had the jug covered with a jacket. The Mutha #@%^$ had the jacket off it and his hand all the way in pulling a wad of $ones up. I almost didn't even realize what he was doing at first then I went off. I grabbed him told him to get out of my house i went to the other movers told them to keep there hands off everything. I was flipping the guy started giving me some BS about wanting to count the money and put it out in the kitchen so theres no problems YA RIGHT, it was in a closed closet. I went off again and just told him I would kick his ass if he didn't get off my property. I called the main office in town they sent another crew and the owner came and said its hard to believe, because this guy is the highest paid foreman for him. I said I know a thief and this guys was thieving. I was pissed they gave me half price etc and they called again to ask questions and apologize, the I see the thief several times over the following 6 months and he's still driving and working for Two Men In A Truck, fricking thief, still gets me mad. Needless to say I don't recommend them

I often do follow up calls. I have gotten large projects due to the fact of my follow up calls. I have called 3-5 days later after submitting bids and ask if they got the bid,ask if they have any questions and ask if they have made any decisions. A few times I have had PM's tell me others were suppose to submit bids and they arent in yet and a few occasions they have said do the work, if the others dont want the job the heck with them basically. The follow up call shows them you want their work and you will put the extra effort to get it. really what extra is it to make a simple phone call, hell I guess if the competition cant even get a bid in timely why would they bother calling If I cant get through to a PM , I leave a voice mail or email following up show you are top of things follow is just part of good customer service

Got stopped by a builder today out side a convenient store. They are in SC and getting ready to do a lot of custom home building around here. He saw my truck with signage and we talked. They are custom homes and they are building all over the area. Want to know who would be interested in New Construction/post construction clean up. They will be working in many counties Anybody in Florence county Brunswick county Geargetown county and he did mention a couple other counties, I forgot which ones We are going to set up a meeting this week or next and If anyone is interested, because I wont travel to a lot of these areas and I can refer him to good PW contractors. Dont know to much now, but i have heard of this builder . Just checked out their websight, pretty impressive, check it out Online Home Design | New Home Floor Plans | Front Doorâ„¢ Price Quote - Schumacher Homes PM or Email me, with your contact info, I'd be glad to pass on your names jl9055@sccoast.net Jeff

Repirators are definitly needed in a situation like that but also you need proper ventilation such as explosion proof fans even if its a distance you can sset it up with that collapsable duct and have it sucking air out one end and another fan blowing fresh air in. There are a few different way to do it you can even use air driven air horns. There things you can read up on about working in confined spaces, many will talk about working in tanks etc but its pretty much the same about restricted rooms. I hope you are feeling better, that would be very scary. I have worked in a ton of confined spaces when I was in the Steel Painter Union, but we 95% of the time had all the proper equipment

Global Warming - YOUR Vote Please ?
Jeff replied to Apple Roof Cleaning's question in The Club House
We pollute, china pollutes, Mexico pollutes the whole world pollutes. Whether it causes global warming or not, it does have bad effects and someday possibly devastating effects. We need to go to cleaner technologies and when we do it will a help us prosper. Theres a lot of jobs and industries to be created. Hopefully in time we will learn we just cant keep dumping cr*p into the environment. I'm no tree hugger, we just need a cleaner world it couldnt hurt -
All left wing liberal media cr*p. The Bush tax cuts and Bush economic policy is working, just ask him. Mission Accomplished. Got any Euros I can borrow

Alright here goes, I'm not really sure of my questions so I'm just going to explain what Im working on and ask you all with experience and everyone else with good ideas to chime in & help me figure out how to go about this. Thanks ahead of time!!! I work for several property management companies and some I do some of their work and some I do most of their work, its all great Well now I was asked to set up a maint. program & schedule for a property management company that Ive worked for for a few years. This is going to be a huge undertaking. This property management company is the 1st or 2nd largest in the area when it comes to condominium buildings & towers. I was approach by the owner of this corp and the 2nd in command They offer all their properties more than most PM companies and they have a select vendors list and now they asked me to take over all their PW & gutter cleaning work exclusively. We are talking 60+ properties LARGE properties Condo towers, parking garages, condo complexes etc etc etc. The way they want me to do it is within the rest of 2006 they want approx half these properties on a program and the rest within 2007. Now not all the properties will want everything done or they might not be able to afford everything but most in time they say will come on line for this program in part or whole WOW They want prices for the whole property, now many of the towers will be done as needed, but all the other surfaces/areas they want on a regular schedule. Like entry ways, sidewalks, pool decks, signs etc etc. Now on the condo complexes say the 1, 2, 3, 4 story buildings the want the buildings done every 12-18 months depending on what I recommend, now they also want a 1/4ly. bi annual & annual price to clean out the gutters depending on the need for it. They also just gave me a property with 17, 3-story condo buildings I will clean the buildings every year and clean out the gutters every 3 months Today I got the OK on 2 parking garages for them 1 is 93K and the other is 200K and they want them done 2 times a year and then another one we just did 35K once a year. Now this is just a drop in the bucket Now like I said Im not sure of my questions to all you other than HOW THE HELL DO I GO ABOUT THIS!!! All on these BBS have got me to this point now you have to get me through this LOL I know I'll take a group of these properties and look at them , figure out what needs to be cleaned and when and write it up for them. I need to figure how to wrie it up, many of the project will be on a schedule say do thes 10 buildings every March, but other surfaces like pool areas, clubhouses , entryways will need to be done every 6 months or like the entries every 1 or 2 months I really dont know what Im asking from you all but some help on figuring this out. Are there any helpful hints or tactics you could give me on how to tackle this. I'm not afraid of this task to get it set up and acually do the work. Im just hoping you all have some ideas for me. I know I'll be hiring more people & buying some more equipment as this all starts to unfold along with all the other work I have. Im ready for the challenge and look forward to taking JL Pressure Washing to a different level, but if any of you could chime in on hel. The Future Pressure Washing King of Myrtle Beach Me, JL Thanks everyone!

Theres million at or near the bottom, say hypothetically all of them get motivated and move up, what are we going to do to fill those jobs and then when we do fill those bottom level jobs what do we tell them, move up, until you do, you get no health care OH Well Its ridiculous to think everyone can move up. Hell theres families that are no where near the bottom and a couple major illnesses can crush them financially I know some VERY hard working people that on the bottom level, grown men & women, they are from this area born in rural areas and came here for work, they aren't very educated but could kick most of our as*ses when it comes to hard work and many are actually very smart at what they do, but not educated. some have no health care and i feel its wrong There will ALWAY be millions of people, most hardworking too that will be on the bottom level. Since they will always be there, what do we tell them???? I know we cant insure everybody now, but DA*mit we should be able to take care of the children of America Don't tell me it couldn't happen to anyone, you, the only bread winner gets in a bad accident, your wife gets a bad health issue, theres no money coming in, but you own a nice little house, mortgage is no more than rent would be some where else. Now you have NO REAL money, your health care company dumped you or your company lets you go, so you no longer have health care. NOW your child gets sick and you cant get the TRUE proper treatment WHAT DO YOU DO? Tell your kid to get motivated and tell them life isn't easy, as they are possibly dieing. This is hypothetical yes..But you know something, this happens to people many people. and dont think charities & churches are going to help them all, because they obviously aren't helping them all now. Hell half the charities are begging for money & help We do live in a country with great opportunities but we also live in the real world. Something has to be done at least for the children Sorry I get worked up, this isn't republican vs democratic, this is the way my heart feels. I don't run my kids to the doctor for every little illness, we usually take care of them at home, but thank god I do have health insurance when I need it. My son is RIGHT NOW at the doctors I'm waiting to hear from my wife. True story happening now, nothing major. He has been peeing a ton, sometimes several times an hour for the past few days and its gotten more last night ad this morning, so he's at the doctors, What if I didn't have health insurance, theres many kids the parent would try to wait it out, what if its something serous. I know i would feel horrible waiting or not taking my child, most anyone would. How about when my son needed his tonsil and adnoids out and ear tubes, he was having problems and he was having real problem hearing. There are some that cant help there children BECAUSE of MONEY & NO HEALTH CARE,, its WRONG , no matter how you all look at it update... well it looks like its nothing with my boy. They did a couple test they were ok and they sent out a culture. doc doesnt think its anything and will pass
