  1. What i have come to understand is that the earth goes through phases of warming and cooling, so based on what i know i am not too concerned and don't beleive all the hysteria. besides, one of our nations biggest phoneys is the liar pushing this whole thing. oh yeah, we had one of our coldest fall and winters this past season, and record snow falls. i really think global warming is a "snow job".

We pollute, china pollutes, Mexico pollutes the whole world pollutes. Whether it causes global warming or not, it does have bad effects and someday possibly devastating effects. We need to go to cleaner technologies and when we do it will a help us prosper. Theres a lot of jobs and industries to be created. Hopefully in time we will learn we just cant keep dumping cr*p into the environment. I'm no tree hugger, we just need a cleaner world it couldnt hurt

  2. I'm defenitely up for a couple of beers. I'm staying at the Long Bay Resort.. Jeff, I'm sure you've cleaned it!!

Nope thats ones Mikes. He's alright except how he prances around in his rain pants all over town :groovy:LOL

Theres a few of us I am sure will meet up with you. Give a call or look me up in the Yellow Pages

James you washing anymore? Bring a couple burritos when you come

  3. I believe Mike hit this one dead on. If someone is at the bottom, it's up to that individual to get motivated enough to move up. We live in a country full of opportunities. It's up to one's self to take advantage of them or just be like the others, and sit back and watch. No one said it was going to be easy.

Theres million at or near the bottom, say hypothetically all of them get motivated and move up, what are we going to do to fill those jobs and then when we do fill those bottom level jobs what do we tell them, move up, until you do, you get no health care OH Well

Its ridiculous to think everyone can move up. Hell theres families that are no where near the bottom and a couple major illnesses can crush them financially

I know some VERY hard working people that on the bottom level, grown men & women, they are from this area born in rural areas and came here for work, they aren't very educated but could kick most of our as*ses when it comes to hard work and many are actually very smart at what they do, but not educated. some have no health care and i feel its wrong

There will ALWAY be millions of people, most hardworking too that will be on the bottom level. Since they will always be there, what do we tell them????

I know we cant insure everybody now, but DA*mit we should be able to take care of the children of America

Don't tell me it couldn't happen to anyone, you, the only bread winner gets in a bad accident, your wife gets a bad health issue, theres no money coming in, but you own a nice little house, mortgage is no more than rent would be some where else. Now you have NO REAL money, your health care company dumped you or your company lets you go, so you no longer have health care. NOW your child gets sick and you cant get the TRUE proper treatment WHAT DO YOU DO? Tell your kid to get motivated and tell them life isn't easy, as they are possibly dieing.

This is hypothetical yes..But you know something, this happens to people many people. and dont think charities & churches are going to help them all, because they obviously aren't helping them all now. Hell half the charities are begging for money & help

We do live in a country with great opportunities but we also live in the real world. Something has to be done at least for the children

Sorry I get worked up, this isn't republican vs democratic, this is the way my heart feels.

I don't run my kids to the doctor for every little illness, we usually take care of them at home, but thank god I do have health insurance when I need it.

My son is RIGHT NOW at the doctors I'm waiting to hear from my wife. True story happening now, nothing major. He has been peeing a ton, sometimes several times an hour for the past few days and its gotten more last night ad this morning, so he's at the doctors, What if I didn't have health insurance, theres many kids the parent would try to wait it out, what if its something serous. I know i would feel horrible waiting or not taking my child, most anyone would. How about when my son needed his tonsil and adnoids out and ear tubes, he was having problems and he was having real problem hearing. There are some that cant help there children BECAUSE of MONEY & NO HEALTH CARE,, its WRONG , no matter how you all look at it

update... well it looks like its nothing with my boy. They did a couple test they were ok and they sent out a culture. doc doesnt think its anything and will pass

  4. Jeff you still chewing on the topic I stuck here a few days ago?? Hugh

ya Hugh I enjoy a lot of these topics. You are a PITA, starting stuff just to get me going LOL

The security system in yet? You happy with it? You & mama relaxing a little more yet?

    Good luck

I heard you might have a revote there in Florida...another chance for you maybe to get a kiss from Hillary when they campaign down there........or did you want a kiss from Obama? LOL

  5. Hey Jeff, I hear ya,

but don't forget about the simple people ( me) that just simply try and make their own way in this mess. I just want affordable coverage in which I am willing to pay for but the rates are through the roof. I hope and pray that nothing more than a cold comes my way. I am still chipping away at the bill to have kidney surgery 3 years ago. Man, something has got to give. I don't mean that in a repub or dem kind of way. It's just that bad out there.

Jeez I could afford more Strats if the cost' of health care were cut down a bit. ok that one was uncalled for. Sorry went off topic, I meant a Gibson Black beauty with gold hardware, oops, did it again!!!!

I here you, health care needs to be more affordable. People cant tell me they wouldn't DIE if one of their children had a bad disease and died, because you lost your job and health care a year ago and you were working a full time job but with no heath care. it happens its sad

yes common everyday hard working people are hurting

My brother in law is in the process to join the military at age 35 because his wife gets sick and has all kinds of problems and she works full time at a doctors office (Orthopedic) she's a CT Tech make $20 an hour good for this area, but she pays $850 a month for her work health care plan, plus all the co pays, deductables and emergency room visits cost them a lot too. There are weeks she is in a doctors office, emergency room 4-5 days or nights a week. . He is buried alive in med bills and she doesnt get paid if she's not in work. He figures join the military and they will pay and help him get a college education hopefully.

I know the ONLY main reason he is doing it, is because of HEALTH CARE, he will never get out of the whole, because his wife has been like this since she was a little girl. If something is going to go wrong you can bet it will go wrong with her.....Thats sad, he has to leave his family and possibly get killed at war time and he is 35 years old all to make sure his family has heathcare and living expenses. He tested just yesterday. The recruiters will say anything to get more bodies, it amazes me. 35 joining the army, man thats messed up

We have to be able to do better than we are, we are a great nation that is bleeding, but we cant afford the bandaids

  6. You know I really dont think everyone wants socialized medicine, but we need a much better system, I think is what most would agree on. We cant have millions of children without health care. We cant have the bottom rung of people that work 40-80 hours a week and cant ever go to a doctor because they cant afford it. People need doctors and medicine even poorer people. Now scum bags, losers, drug addict, people who just try to live off the system, screw them!!!. What do we do about hard working people & children.

Why cant our country negotiate with drug companies and every other country can, thats a scam.

Im not trying to argue on this, its just what do we do, let people die or justsay sorry you cant afford it, you cant have it

  7. I've seen strange patterns before too. For me they followed the stud lines of the framing.

My assumption is the studs or walls in some way effects either the condensation on the home exterior or the temperature in those spots.

This either increases or slows down the oxidation in those spots.

I say condensation, because when I've seen it it's been early morning and the home is covered in dew except along those spots.

In the picture they are verticle lines above the shadows.

Yup the studs most likely, thats what it sound like he's talking about. See it often in older or real cheap vinyl

  8. Jeff:

We weren't in a recession in Bush's first year, nor are we in one now. Look up what "recession" means. The economy certainly isn't growing as fast as it has in the past, or as fast as it could, but we are not in a recession.

Ok Mike, but close enough. Its the left wing media FOX News where I heard there was a recession Bushes 1st year

What ever anyone wants to call it, I hope it turns around sooner than later, its one of the worst slow downs I have seen. I am doing fine, but many arent.

    How old the baby now?

Josh will be 5 in April and the baby Jessica is 19 months and a total terror, but a beautiful one. hope you are enjoying fatherhood...I know you are!!!

    Jeff

  10. Thats what I always here, any black republican leader is always just a pawn for Bush. What about Colin Powell, first black Secretary of State, and he did disagree with Bush on plenty of things, does he count as a black rublican leader or not

Colon I think is a good person and I think would make a great President. The republicans should try to get him to run in 2012. I'd vote for him. The problem with Powell is he did disagree with Bush and tried to fight him & chenney, but in the end he went in front of the UN and said the bush company line. I saw an interview with Powell and he regrets he didn't fight harder. I like the man he can even admit his mistakes. He did not want to go to war with Iraq, Bush should have listened to a man that has seen it all when it comes to war & peace

    POWELL IN 2012
