  1. Vibrating Surface Cleaner

When you hang the Arms as a complete assembly you can see if they lean one way or the other. If they lean you just grind off some metal off of the elbow that hangs lower. I use a level to see when they are both even.
  2. Local theft of logo!

Is this the Logo you speak of? It looks alot like the Contractors Coach from the Cleaner Times Magazine.
  3. 270 Gallon Water Totes worth

Here they sell for $1 per gallon or in this case it would be $270
  4. Vibrating Surface Cleaner

Think of the arms as a fan blade. When it spinns around it has to be balanced. The angle of the tips are criticle too. You can see if your arms are balanced by hanging them on a string from a Tee.
  5. Wayne burner not burning

Some things are just worth Saving. They say a Picture is worth a Thousand words.

  11. What model pump is this?

Can you tell me if there are any Numbers stamped into the shaft of this General Pump? It is a General for sure. The manufacture and Date are printed on the bottom of the case if you look at the little Round Mold stamp
  12. Wayne burner not burning

***CAUTION*** If you hotwire the fuel solenoid ***DO NOT LEAVE THE WIRING THIS WAY*** It is very dangerous. the burner will stay lit even when you release the trigger. This can cause a Steam-out condition. Your Machine coils can blow up!!! Your hoses can pop and burn you and put you in the hospital. This is serious. Before you get started make notes of the wiring and put them back where they were. The easiest way to test the solenoid coil is to pull it off of the body and stick a phllips screw driver thru the hole in the coil. With the burner running and the trigger pulled the coil should hold the screw driver like a magnet. When you release the trigger it should let go of the screw driver. If it does not do this then you can look at the wiring.
  13. My pressure gauge turned black

I have heard that there can be a chemical reaction in environments where acid is used. The glycerine turns dark when it comes in contact. It has sugars and oil in it.
  14. My pressure gauge turned black

    hmmmm Could it be mold?
  15. What's wrong with my surface cleaner?

What about the angle of the arms. They should be adjusted once in a while. They make an adjustment tool for them. If the Angle is wrong or out of whack it will slow it way down.
  16. Save gas and diesel,

Well lets remove the points too. Propane does not heat as well as Diesel. Gallon to gallon Diesel is more efficient. Join Date: Dec 2003 Never had a violation for anything. Now Points against his name.
  17. Thermostat HELP

Sounds like you found the fix.
  18. Save gas and diesel,

Give it up. What if you run out of Propane in the middle of a job at 3am? You can get diesel at 3am. Just try to get Propane.
  19. Save gas and diesel,

Don't forget the heating elements draw aLMOST As much as the electric motor.
  20. how high to mount water tank

No need to raise the tank. Even a direct drive pump will pull from 14 feet. The trick is to have the tank as close to the pump as you can without burning a hole in the tank. Hard plumb the fittings and install a check valve near the output of the tank so the water stays in the line as it is pulled from the tank. This will stop the pump from loosing prime. I like to use 1 inch grey pvc for my installs. Also install a water filter in line.
  21. Quick Connects

Just wanted to add my two cents worth. Never buy the Brass Male ends they don't last. Get the Steel or Stainless male plugs. The brass Females are good but, Keep them lubed up. Also here is a little trick. Lets say you have the Quick couplers between the gun and hose. Put a Male on the hose and the female on the gun. Why? When under pressure the couplers push and pull against eachother when you pull the trigger. When the male is on the gun it wears out faster than when the female is on the gun. I'm sure there is some scientific reason for this. I notticed that Landa Always runs them this way.
  22. Generator

Are we talking about a Generator complete with engine and all or just the belt driven replacement for your burner?
  23. power washer Waterproof covers

What Brand of Pressure washer and Model number do you have, Sometimes you can purchase them from the Manufacture of the Pressure washer. Here is an example from Hydrotek http://www.hydroteksystems.com/partsbook/pb21.pdf
  24. Pump Problem?

If this problem keeps on happening you should add a check valve in the line from the tank to the washer. Install it at the tank then the suction line will always have water in it. I like to use the swing type check valves. You can get them at Home Depot.
  25. That is a small machine. It looks like a Garbage can with a Flue attached to it. LOL That is a Portable Aaladin Machine that usually works off of 230vac Where is the Engine?
