I tried this method on some AF today. IT TOOK FOREVER to clean a small vinyl entrance to a 1850 sqft home I spent more time srcubbing the vinyl than I did on the concrete and the house put together. I wont be doing this again This is a service I wont be adding. unless I can run it through the gun or wand sprayer. Its bad enough having to get up on a ladder and scrub gutters. I can just image having to climb up a ladder to rub off a million little black dots with a pack of magic erasers. I found that the eraser doesnt do anything more than a soft scrub sponge dipped in some mild degreaser. Although I did get extra $ from the job but it put me behind on another larger, higher paying job. and I felt bad for having to charge almost as much as the house wash to remove about 200 black dots. I felt I was nickel and dime-ing my loyal customers.

see, I look at it differently and a little more optimistically I dont want to raise my prices and I dont want to suck off the oil tit of Iraq forever if this "fuel" can save me and my customers money without damaging the equipment then it is worth it. just turning your back on it and saying "Bhah, I'll just raise my prices." let the customer deal with it. thats a little too narrow minded for me I am always looking for a way to save my company and my customers money. MY community here in GA is very big on "green" fuel and alternative energy. We are working on several alternative energy projects in our subdivision to reduce our cost and dependancy on foreign oils as well as polluting fuels. - real world hydrogen conversion, (and no its not a mason jar attached to the engine intake btw), its real, its being used now, and I have seen it in action. solar hydrogen conversion is the future see United Nuclear - Hydrogen Fuel Systems for more info - roof mounted solar panel conversion to get us off the grid and be self sufficient. - inline hot water heaters - we are converting all of our street lights and entrance lights to solar only and cutting them from the grid. - terraced garden to produce higher yield of food in smaller areas - we did a group buy for cf bulbs last year and got almost all of the homes switched over to cfs, (my bill went down about $30 a month) those are just a few of the projects various neighbors are working on. I have always wanted to switch my burner to run something better I have run kero in it, which is cleaner but more expensive. I feel guilty running off road diesel in it because of the pollution and the price is getting out of hand

I was talking about using it in my burner NOT the engine the hot water heater/burner only I know how bioD and vegoil engines work. we converted my neighbors mecedes 300d to run on veggie and diesel mix required new plugs and an additional fuel filter. no change in ignition timing required.

what kind of film? its just oil I would think you would have to use an additional filter inline with your current filter. -get the oil -pre-filter the big stuff -uv treat to kill any bacteria -strain the oil into a holding tank -dump in diesel tank -then it gets filter 2x more by the new inline filter and existing filter before it get s burned and if you cant use straight veg oil what would be the appropriate mixture of regular diesel and vegOil? just adding a couple of gallons of veg oil can save 25$ or more a day

I want to find something that I can run through the burner not my engine.

what about adding a stabilizer like this one to veg-oil Diesel Secret Energy - Alternative Biofuel Biodiesel would that allow it to burn?

I too want info about buring bioD or veg oil my burner. I already use dyed diesel but with it being almost 5$ a gallon, I need a cheaper alternative

I encountered some of the worst "streaky" gutters today it was in a narrow corridor along a roofline that meets a porch it has this little tiny alley full of bushes the house was brick and the only heavy black streaks on gutters were in the damp corridor on the gutters there is an aluminum or tin piece of flashing that sticks up near the corner no streaks under it..? but streak just a few inches from it. it is so strange that these streaks are only on this one section of gutter. Im going back tom to take a second look and snap a few pics. I cleaned with a shc,based housewash mixture first and killed all the mold then hit it with a butyl cleaner and let it dwell then reached up there and tried to scrub by hand..nothing then hit it with chemical again and attacked it with a turbo nozzle..no change it was a 50% improvement customer not real thrilled, neither was I I have always had a problem with gutters this was the worst section I have ever seen My suggestion was to have the builder paint the gutters considering this house is only 2 years old. suggestions? explanations? .......solutions?

swapped tips everything was working great It was a combination of the tips being worn and an extra dirty driveway mainly sap I ran the worn tips on another not so dirty driveway and it cleaned fine I have never seen sap like this before, and living in Ga we have alot of sap swapping the tips ressurected the steel eagle and I was sailing through the job then then frickin spare hose blew dang

must be the tips then - arms not leaking - tires arent low - stock arms and tips from steel eagle - it may be set at 15 degrees although we adjust it frequently for other types of concrete its cleaning better on the right AND left edges better than the center in case I confused yall with my previous description. The chemicals or our procedure isnt the problem nor is water temp or "walking to fast" we have been in business for years and this has never been an issue before. it is definetely an issue with the surface cleaner. as another surface cleaner works fine on the same job and adding more 12.5 really isnt the answer in this case as this concrete is stained with red clay and sap neither are heavily affected by bleach. and I think, since the last rotary went bad possibly before the tips wore out. thus we never noticed any reduced performance as the tips have been "newer" the entire time this unit has been in service as the new rotary came with arms and tips. Thanks for the help I will be swapping the arms and tips out this week. luckily we have had a boom in business this week and most of them have been houses with very light dirt on the concrete. so the reduced performance of the SC hasnt been a problem. I have a big steel eagle surface cleaner and lately it just isnt cleaning right I'm getting swirly patterns on the concrete and its seems to be cleaning better on the left and right edges than on the front edge it kind leaves a stripe with the clean part being on the left and right and the swirlys being in the middle it never used to do this I have adjusted the arms in every position but it does it not help my arms arent bent this is my second rotary union and it spins well there are no clogs in the jets suggestions? I really need help ..it took me almost 7 hours to do a basic dirt double driveway yesterday , it should have taken 3.
