  1. I Want Your Opinion!

The fact that you felt the need to take your concerns from the other thread to a REAL pressure washing forum means that you obviously care, and that is a great first step. the next step is to listen to the advice given by the other pros and hang around for a while and get your "learn" on.
  2. This was Scary

It's a shame you didn't see any red flags about this guy during the estimate. I've turned down customers that I think will be a pain in the a** for way less than what this guy is all about.
  3. Selling trailer rig question

do you have any pictures of the rig/equipment?
  4. How do you spray your chlorine?

This is the procedure that I use on the average algae, mold, mildew driveways that I see around here except I use a high flow pump up sprayer to apply my chem treatment. 1 clean with surface cleaner 2 rinse concrete 3 while concrete is still wet, spray a thin layer of full strength chlorine 4 watch left over grime disappear 5 rinse chlorine if you so choose, but I usually let it dry on the concrete 6 collect check 7 go to next job I'm a firm believer, when cleaning large build ups of mold, etc that it better to clean the concrete with your surface cleaner first, and then treat with chems. otherwise many times your chemical only cleans/treats the top layer of scum and never reaches the bottom layer. Also you will use far less chems doing it this way.
  5. Did McCain Make A Big Mistake ?

I got this email earlier today. Hilarious!!! Maybe some of you Obama supporters can come up with something, or maybe at least just make something up. LOL!!!! Chris Matthews slam dunked Senator Kirk Watson, when he asked the Senator for just one example of Obama's legislative accomplishments. Want to see a politician choke on national TV?.....watch this.... Chris was surprised when the Obama campaign's own surrogates are left utterly stumped when asked to list his legislative accomplishments as a Senator. CLICK HERE:

  11. Dormer Windows

Wet the roof down before cleaning the dormer windows, but explain to the customer that there is still a posibilty that it may clean the roof below the dormer, and all you can do is make an attempt to prevent it.
  12. What was up with that wacked out post you had before changing it? You sounded like an insane crack head.
  13. Getting Started!!!

Is your liability Ins for lawn care, pressure washing or roof cleaning? I'm asking because lawn care ins is different than pressure washing and roof cleaning ins.

  15. Boy's Rite of Passage?

You could just burn the fleas off the dog and save the time of picking them off first.:lglolly:
  16. Boy's Rite of Passage?

You don't think magnifying the suns light rays to produce enough intensity to burn the exoskeleton of an ant is scientific and neat? :lglolly:
  17. Boy's Rite of Passage?

Go lay in an ant bed and I think you will discover very quickly that the ants loyalty is to themselves and they can give rats butt about you, or any other human for that matter. Look, I don't condone cruelty, but I think it's ridiculous that you turn a light hearted thread about ant burning into a cruelty to animals tirade. You say it's not right turn burn ants because it is useless cruelty. I say from a humans prospective, that sacrificing a few ants to teach your young boy something kind of neat and even scientific is a small price. I don't think showing a boy how to burn ants with a magnifying glass is going to make him any more likely to burn cats, or hang dogs either. Let's keep things in perspective, what do you say chappy.
  18. Boy's Rite of Passage?

Yeah, I did read the whole post, and my point is still valid. WE DO WHAT IS IN OUR NATURE TO DO, AND SOMETIMES THAT INVOLVES CRUELITY FOR PURPOSES, OF ENTERTAINMENT, SCIENCE, CURIOSTY, LEARNING, AND TEACHING. LOOK AT IT AS HUMAN INSTICT, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IT IS.
  19. Boy's Rite of Passage?

Burning ants with a magnifying glass can be viewed in many different ways. A child learning that ants can be burned under the suns magnification could be considered a science lesson, a learning tool that may help his/her increase their understanding of the world in which they live in. Just because the act may seem cruel to you believe it or not experimentation, and trying different things as a child is very important in their development process, and helps contribute to their ultimate abilty to adapt, thrive, and survive in this world. The very essence of nature is cruel. My cat catches lizards on my screen porch from time to time when I'm not around to save them. He plays with them until they are dead. He has no interest in eating them, but his curiosity and INSTICT pushes him to act this way. Is this cruelty? I don't think so it's just nature.
  20. Boy's Rite of Passage?

My brother and I used to love torching army men. Usually with a can of WD-40 and a lighter. I believe every young boy must go through a pyro faze before reaching adulthood.
  21. Yes. That is the only T-shirts I will wear when working. Athletic Heather Lofteez by Fruit of a Loom. They don't show bleach stains, they are comfortable, and they hold up for good long while.
  22. Help Needed! (2nd request)
