  1. Stopping in to say hello!

hello all. I haven't been here in awhile and thought I'd pop in to say hello. Everything has been great on my end; business doing well and life not to bad. I assume Beth and Rod still manage here. Nice to see that you'll are doing a great job. Anyway, Happy holidays!
  2. Anyone in Texas know this website thief?

I've submitted a copyright claim to godaddy. I actually called the guy right after I discovered it. I asked him to pull the site down and he actually had the nerve to ask if he can keep it up for a few weeks until he can get another site put together. I told him absolutely not. I notice he has tried changing some things, but not even close to good enough. I have people all the time take a paragraph here and there, but I've never seen anybody rip off an entire website like this. Needless to say I was livid when I discovered it. I know most of you know about sites like copyscape.com but for those that don't you can scan a handful of pages for free once a month to check and see if someone has stolen your property. I usually check my main pages about every two months.
  3. Wow! Look how brazenly this guy stole my entire website, layout, text, graphics, some pics, etc. www.kingwoodpressurewashing.com My site www.ccpressureclean.com
  4. Yup. No thanks on that "invitation to bid".
  5. What are you doing for Valentine’s Day?

Watching tv and appreciating the fact that I'm single again after 13 years.
  6. Watched while working.

down here we have spiders that squash spiders like that.
  7. I hate concrete paints, and have never seen one that hasn't failed eventually. When customers ask about them, I tell them to steer clear.
  8. Chemical pump

The flow is getting restricted. Use a larger orifice nozzle, and larger ID hose.
  9. The only way I can see anything like that happening if through means already described (contaminated water bowl near deck, etc). If that's not the case, I wouldn't worry about it to much. It would cost them way more money then they would want to spend to attempt to prove that you were at fault some how.
  10. Couple of general newbie questions

I just wear a good pair of wrap around sun glasses and use little caution.
  11. In my area lawn guys are notorious for being under knowledged, under equipped, and under priced in exterior cleaning. In fact, they usually just leave a black eye on our industry. You're the one doing the research. YOU are the professional. trust what you've learned and the guys on forums like this one and you can't go wrong.
  12. I run my web pages through copyscape.com just about every month and about every time I find at least one thief who has stolen some of the content from my website. It's very frustrating and feels the same way as if they stole equipment right off my trailer. I guess that's the price you pay when you have good content that ranks good in the search engines.
  13. I don't buy that either. 100 people can write a paragraph detailing similar information and every one of them will be distinctively different if it came from their own thoughts.
  14. black plastic shutters

If the shutters are already a little dulled from the sun, the house wash mix can make it a little more noticeable. The best way to prevent any problems is to rinse them immediately after applying the chem to that section of house. I usually hit them with some water right after applying my solution while rinsing down the landscaping.
  15. Delavan Pumps

A good rule of thumb if you don't have it wired to automatically charge is to charge everyday after using it. Last thing you need is to cut it close and run out of charge in the middle of a job. That would blow.
