thats the 8.7 gpm SCU3009KAF model Kohler engine, stainless frame. 2 gun set up. Havnt tried it yet with 2 guns going.

Ive got a little room left for the big hose reel. I left room on one side for a ladder, but decided to get one for the truck instead. Then I'll do some rearranging.

did a deck yesterday with a maintenance coat of WT. He said last time the paint streaked on walls under deck. I had used efc and ox. This time the paint job was brand new with a good alkyd paint. I used Restore, then a weak mix of citric 8 oz per gal. Still got streaks and I could tell from the spatter marks right above the deck, that it was the acid. I wiped with mineral spirits and still did not get all the streaking or spatters out. Anyone have this happen? How to fix and prevent it from happening further.

Dont do it. First roof I ever got On i mixed calcium Hypo. I mixed it pretty strong too. it didnt do squat. nothing, nada. After spraying 3 times with it and it making little difference a friend came with a tank of Sodium Hypo and saved the day. Youll waste your money and time.

this is another product meant exclusively for homeowners. As a contractor you have no business using it. HO quality products are only strong enough that the HO has no way possible of getting hurt unless they drink it. Sell your service and expertise, and dont succumb to using a HO quality product.

Can you hook it up to a standard sureflo/delevan pump. or do you need to regulate the flow somehow?

I replaced my dash in the TR6 with cherry. I used oil polyurethane. Dont know abt the humidity as I was in California at the time. Unfortunately when I moved to Fla the car rusted at every joint and with a new family, I couldnt afford a hobby car so had to get rid of it. I still stop every time I see one. Miss that car terribly as it was the one thing I most identify my youth with.

just smile and take it off their door. crumple it up and say. "most people just do this, but I can see your having a bad day so Ill do it for you." Knocking on doors does work, but is mostly a waste of time.

i charged about 850 for this one and i felt under paid. They really are a pita. I had to do some wood replacement and since they are non standard sized boards there was some routing to do. I did charge a decent amount for that thank goodness.

Simple Cherry is a great all purpose cleaner for around the house. Restore is great for grout and tile, but wont get deep mold out.

I have learned many things in the last 7 years. One of the most important ones is that dropping your prices doesnt get you more work. A couple years ago i tried dropping 10-15% on each bid. Did not get one more job! There is always some one that will bid lower, no matter how low you go. The best way to sell is face to face. A quote left at the door or a phone quote is just a price. People buy from people they like and trust. those that buy just based on price are not who I want as a customer. I passed a contractor a couple weeks ago. He called and asked if I did roof cleaning, and since he was tired of it after 25 years could I sub all of his. I gave him my prices. after a long pause, he said "Oh, I charge $300/day $185/half day. can I do it for that?" Sorry, but no. Ill be dammed if Ill get up on a roof for that. Let the lowballers have the low rent customers.

That cart at ready seal is really no different than the one Scott sells. Only the bucket sits higher. Scotts is cheaper too.

Another thing you cant do on the cart from the sealer store is adjust the pressure. Although I guess its something I could look into.

how did you get away with not masking? Thats a rediculous amount of white surface surrounding that wood.

the disadvantage of Scotts sprayer-which I use- is that it is badly unbalanced without the pail on the front. the battery tends to tip it backwards. Also, it comes with black rubber hose that will leave marks on a hot day. I use mine mostly for my paver sealer, but have used caustics and acids, rinsed then put stain through it and after almost a year it just started leaking. As with any delevan or sure flow set up, you keep a spare on hand.

This is how we clean and seal pavers. We exclusively use Seal N Lock and are finished with most jobs in 1 day. We seal paver pool decks, brick paver patios and paver driveways throughout the Tampa Bay area.

last year when I talked to Jake, he said not to use AC on hardwoods. Did i misunderstand? I didnt get to question him further. I tried some super cedar on a piece of scrap and it didnt last 3 months before there was no pigment left. in fact i had three pieces, one with Wood tux, one with ready seal and the other with AC. the wood tux is the only one with any color left after 7 months.

This dock had a water based coating on it. We stripped it off and sanded verticles to get off the still sound stain. Applied AC semi solid stain, Mountain Cedar.
