  1. Home Remedys

Cold-Eze, if you take it at first sign of symptoms, works very well to lessen both the severity and duration of a cold.
  2. ebay scams

One thing to look for in an ebay email is the way it is addressed. It will never say "Dear ebay customer". It will be personally addressed to you.
  3. Black 12%

Definitely some type of chemical reaction. Dump it and clean the tank.
  4. I don't see any problem with recoating it using restoration techniques like you described. Be sure to do a close inspection of all areas to look for signs of blistering. I would also do a prime coat as the solid that is on there now is probably oxidized.
  5. vines

If you have ever heard the song "Signs" (60's tune remade by Tesla in the 80's) you can sing this version after a long day of inhaling too many VOC's.. Vines, vines, everywhere a vine F-ing up the scenery.. wastin' my time.. Those remnants (roots?) are a lot like artillery fungus. You need a vine disclaimer clause.
  6. Job tomorrow. WASPS!

Shane that gave me a body chill . I hate insects. A customer a couple weks ago brought out a can of wasp/nornet kiler that said 40,000 volts of dielectric breakdown power. I didn't use it or try it (wasn't sure what it was supposed to do) Does anybody know what this type of product does?
  7. How to close the doors?

What type of business entity are you? Adrian as much as I respect the people here I would not fart around with advice from a message board. You could have long term tax implications or things that can bite you in the arse. Consult an attorney.
  8. An American

God Bless America ! (he has already)
  9. I used to be a nice guy, but...

I would not have let the tile guys set up. "Yo guys, you can't setup there we're cleaning that area/ I'll work around you but I'm not gonna be responsible if your tools get wet. If I am there first I'm working. Period. The other guys can reschedule or take it up with the homeowner. I tell homeonwer in instances where it was a referrall and I didn't have to sell the job, "I will fax or email you a contract. I need it ready for my guys before any work can begin" People understand contractual agreements and are less likely to do what they did to you, Alan if consequences are spelled out politely but clearly.
  10. Residential: Hot or cold

Hot water on vinyl siding is also a good way to warp it. Dan, here is a counter marketing technique.. The temperatures needed for sanitization (ie killing mold spores) would have to be very high. Ask the customer what happens to a cassette tape or CD that is exposed to high heat. The same will happen to vinyl if you start hitting it with 180+ degre water. If you use lower than that you aren't doing anything to kill the mold. This guy's campaign is a complete fugazi.
  11. Residential: Hot or cold

Decks, you'll obviously never use hot water. Housewashes:On everything but stucco its also unneccesary. If you are going to be cleaning pool areas often, I agree with Wayne.. no chemicals to wash into pool water . Overall I'd say use the money you will save and invest it in a marketing campaign. Add a hotbox later should the need arise.
  12. Time To Give Back!

I ordered mine.. thank you, Hugh
  13. Faith vs. Fact (Creation vs. Evolution)

I'll pass the microphone on this topic.
  14. Entreprenurship?? What does it mean to you?

Entrepreneurs take ideas and turn them into money.. An entrepreneur sees potential profit where non seemingly exists. An entrepreneur takes dreams and makes them reality. Owning a business does not make you an entrepreneur though you have to own a business to be an entrepreneur.
  15. First Cedar Job

It looks very good from what I can discern from the pictures. When you go back make sure you get between those floor boards. ;-) Nice job, Tex
  16. Soap Formulas

Dan the problem is, if someone finds a great formula, they will want to sell it and keep it proprietary.
  17. Price

    I agree 100% Frank.
  18. Hello Guys and Gals

I never had any real problems with Walters. We had some issues with multiple policies for different business entities but they cleared them up in reasonable time.
  19. well water on aluminum

This is a good test bed to try the technique. That blue siding is always badly oxidized.
  20. New website: Comments please!

Mike I think its just basically testing keywords and see where you are positioned.
  21. New website: Comments please!

Is submitting an alternate page to the crawlers feasible or is that a no-no? My organic results suck.
  22. Got tickets for the October show up here (I must be a southerner at heart) and wondered if these two bands still have it?
  23. New website: Comments please!

The way you are standing in your picture offends me.. LOL. Looks good, man. I understand the SEO and you are the man when it comes to that.
  24. Help with Krud Kutter

I agree with WEW. I pay $12/gallon up here with tax and use it for paint cleanup and getting spot stains from siding. Works well on concrete if you drip sealer onto it as well. Mix it 50/50 for good gutter cleaner.
  25. I think I would fel a little uncomfortable having my guys use a #10 nozzle. I think with that nozzle you could get into "signing" the siding.
