As far as what--the title of this thread or the Grease Police?

Is the grease police still active much anymore? They were awesome from what I heard when they first started up.

What if now you add in an org that has a bb attached to it like some have, do you think a stand alone bb can be more influential than that type of setup?

Hey Ryan-- Good to cya back. I always loved winter because of the winter sports I played as a kid. Today I think winter sucks. My body aches when it gets cold out especially my knees. My goal is to get to the gym starting next Monday. Very cool you have a goal to do that running event. That's the way to do it is to set a goal like that. Best of luck.

Had our website revamped last year which worked well. This year were in the process of hiring someone to keep an eye on our website for SEO purposes. Hiring another person to keep our name high up on the searches engines thru his system(trial period with low cost startup). Trying other marketing methods along with what we do year in and year out. Might also streamline a little more like I did last year---Basically cutting the fat some.

Time for me to step away from the bulletin boards on a daily bases. Being around as long as I have on these sights and making a slew of good friends there really isn't much more I can contribute on the net. I always believed in helping each other out when we could on the net which was always easier for me because I don't have the time to talk much on the phone. As for my future plans I may take one more run at a PWNA BOD slot down the road(20% chance) and I also may help out some guys with some future events within this industry. After seeing now how well these bb's run and the great job the Mods do on them and the frequency the membership post, it brings satisfaction knowing how far we have come since the days when hardly anyone post in the late 90's. I may still post once in awhile but my goal is to fade away and move on. Happy holidays and may your New Year be a healthy/happy and a prosperous one.

Congrats to the PWNA BOD's who moved up to their new positions, the ones who stayed on and also to the new PWNA BOD's. 2014 is going to be an exciting year for the PWNA. A little recap

We used the metal Jerry cans with the large metal spout which you can't get anymore. Now I have some skinnier metal spouts which suck. We also have the plastic gas cans with the plastic gas spout which bite. There's also some documentation that when some people gassed up their cars there was also static explosions. So what's the answer?

One day I'd love to see a PWNA Convention and CETA Convention back to back or even together in the same hotel..... Hmmmm One of the best Conventions I ever attended was the Dallas PWNA/IWCA convention in 04 that had over 700 people attend including Beth/Rod from here. In size that one was awesome. I did hear the PWNA Convention this year was very well received as was the PWRA convention. I personally love a large audience and want to see the PWNA and PWRA hit those magical numbers(1000's) but still are as rock solid as some of the smaller attended Conventions I've been to in the past. 2014 is going to be an exciting time for this Industry and I'm looking forward to it:)

I always said Jimbo that your class should be all day. There's no one I know except for maybe Robert H. who is so informative as you are and in the parking garage cleaning your second to none when it comes to information/education. Maybe "Garage Professor" would have been more an appropriate title for you then "Garage Doctor" but either way the message is clear:)

Our gutter cleaner bucket spilled on Stamped concrete last year and it cost me a $1000 to fix the damages. Sometimes unfortunately things can go wrong when you least expect it. This happened to one of my customers who's been with us now for around 10yrs and with no questions asked I foot the bill to solve her problem that we no doubt caused.

Both of the above have their benefits and different types of business models may need one or the other or both involved in your business. That's all common knowledge. All that aside what would you rather have working for you Subs or Employees? Personally I rather have Employees. I don't want other people's headaches and running my own business I rather deal with my own crew. Subs may do "Subpar" work where my guys do not. What's your thoughts on this?

Very cool NY Josh...errr I mean Jersey Josh :) I just checked it out. I put the last show link on Powerwashcommunity bulletin board and I'll do the same with this one. Kurt Kempton who is excellent as a speaker(seen him the last few years at the NOLA event) is spot on when he says in this show that the Industry needs a show like..... The Mole & Jersey show. Looking forward to Ep 3.
