  1. TGS members check in with your website link

My link didn't show up. This should do it-- http://www.cleancounty.com/
  2. PWNA Members doing Charitable work--email me.

Keep the emails coming. Very inspiring reading what guys in the Powerwashing Industry have done to give back. Thanks for the responses so far :)
  3. Parking Garage cleaning/maintenance with John Tornabene,Nigel Griffith & "The Garage Doctor" Jim Gamble. Some topics of discussion will include: What else can be expected to be cleaned in parking garages such as stairwells, walkways walls etc, types of equipment needed,Sweeping/preparation,degreasers and other cleaning solutions, Filtration, sludge/rubbish capture and removal and safety procedures. Also learn how to be compliant so you can be very profitable in doing so.
  4. The weather is beautiful here. It's been mostly in the high 70's to low 80's which is below normal. I've already seemed some leaves turn. The Farmers almanac is predicting a harsh winter for the northeast which shouldn't mean much you would think but for some odd reason they've been right 80% of the time since their existence. Much better then our weather forecasters are here as far as accuracy goes.
  5. One of the many reasons we shy away from wood restoration jobs. We do have a deck strip/Stain next Tuesday but my patience is so thin dealing with the obstacles that cause interference in this dep't.
  6. I was waiting for this thread to be put here on TGS. The first 3 people that came to mind that would have an answer for this guy was Shane,Beth or Diamond Jim Foley right here on TGS. I would do exactly what Shane suggested above to see what Sherwain Willams warranty covers and then go from there.
  7. In the news - Sacremento California

I can't see that happening here anytime soon since he got ticketed for wasting water while Cali has a major drought problem going on. We had 13" of rain in one day this past week. What made this storm interesting is the 13" rain in a 24hr period is considered a 200yr storm as in it happens maybe every 200yrs. The 6"rain that came down in one hour made that moment a 500yr storm due to that large amount. A couple of towns over here declared an emergency due to massive amounts of flooding and some giant sinkholes. Weird times where living in.
  8. Equipment Upgrade

Hey Tricky Micky-- just throw In your numbers to this formula [(gpm X psi) /1450] X 1.5 = hp to see what you need.
  9. Good morning TGS crew.

Hope you all have a prosperous day/week/yr/career :)
  10. Good morning TGS crew.

Not bad. Where staying busy with commercial work. Our residential has come to a crawl like it almost always does this time of year. Still have 2 more garages to do with one starting this weekend. Should be another week or so worth of work then we expect our residential to pick up a bit for the labor day end of summer parties. I have a few jobs booked for September as well. How's things by you? Great job with that lodge you guys did. Absolutely beautiful.
  11. I'mmmm Back

Hey Ricky welcome back. Enjoy DR. I took my family there for a winter vaca 3yrs ago and man do we miss it.
  12. PWNA Members doing Charitable work--email me.

PWNA Members keep sending me your info on this-- Thanks.
  13. It's 5:30 am & I'm posting earlier then Beth is here and not because I'm an early bird like she is...noooo. only reason I'm posting this early is because I just walked in from working on a garage out of state and I'm sitting in a sleezy hotel. Time to hit the sack. Only another week & where done with this monster.... I miss my family.
  14. ^^Lol... I wish. Pretty much Powerwashing consumes me by choice...I love it:)
  15. Hey Beth what are you sleeping in today it's 5:30 am :) 2 more days of this parking garage madness and where done....until next week to do another....parking garage yay.
  16. PWNA Members doing Charitable work--email me.

This is for any Powerwashing Charitable work thats been done or will be done in 2014.
  17. I was asked to speak at CETA & ISSA convention!

WOW!!! Simply amazing. Your moving up girl :)
  18. Hope you all enjoy your 4th of July.
  19. Beth don't you ever sleep late?? your post says 5:59am.. The only reason I'm posting now is because we just finished a parking garage upstate NY & now I'm off to sleep in some rat trap hotel. Good nite or morning :)
  20. Typical nonsense by the same Individual who is no longer invited to any events within this Industry. It's the reason why he does ones close to others because of his jealousy problems. The PWRA on the other hand is ran by Respected Industry leaders who are going to have a monstrous turnout all done up with Class and no secret sales pitches.
  21. I have so many damaging texts from the same self appointed "Industry Leader" who has gone out of his way to damage anything I get involved in. I'm done offering him anymore Olive branches in the future especially after he posted that my wife is a liar(who happens to be a sweetheart) Time for people to just shut him out and let him keep his bad behavior with his flunkies. As Beth stated if he keeps performing aggravated harassment(thru phones) get legal council.
  22. Stuck TS 2021 pump

Could the pulley/belt alignment gone out a little bit? This happens to us on one powerwasher where after 300 or so hrs of use the same thing happens to this pump. We burnt up a few belts because of it. Just today again we had to realign the belts a hair and then tightened it back up. So far so good.
  23. I think about this alot. Can we do another Large Volunteer job that could involve orgs or just powerwashers without any affiliations. Personally I am leaning towards involving orgs/associations. In the past the PWNA was involved with cleaning the baseball hall of fame stadium in Cooperstown NY as well as cleaning the Lincoln Memorial in DC. I keep eying places in NY city in my area that are historical. Anywhere in anyplace USA this could happened. Who would be interested in this and what idea's would you have?
  24. Lol.. It maybe even dirtier the next go round....
  25. If there is another one you will most definitely be welcome to participate if you feel up to it. I'd like to see another one of these again one day. We really enjoyed the Cooperstown one and would have loved to be at the Lincoln Memorial one but couldn't because of our summer family vacation then.
