Oneness, Its sad to see that you have a cynical attitude concerning whether people are inherently good or not. I couldn't disagree with you more on this. Most people I know are good whether there religious or not. Religion teaches us they we are born with original sin(How bad is that to accuse a newborn of being a sinner until he's baptised) Also answer me this if you can-- If you feel that most people are inherently bad and they need religion as a guidance to be good then how do you explain in the history of man kind the biggest reason why people are murdered/killed is because of RELEGION?? Could they be coerced because of religion to do things inherently bad??

The beauty of Science is that eventually thru trial an error they will come up with the right answers like they have in many cases. Some Science Idea's will take 100's of years to get the right answers but they will get there. Religion on the other hand will always be an interpretation idea which will ALWAYS have flaws because it most likely can never really be based on FACTS. Science in the end when proven correct thru there trial an errors will be FACTUAL and the 100's if not 1000's different religions will be based on Stories right or wrong. My Own Opinion-Most people in general need a Belief system to give them HOPE and also to be able to COPE when Tradegy hits them such as Losing a Child(Tough Example but just trying to make a point). They have to Believe that there Child is in a better Place or they will just go to Pieces if they haven't already. For this I think Religion is great and I will always never deny anyone that who might have experience some tragic event in there life. With that being said when I deal with emergency's I might tell someone "Thank God this wasn't worse then it could have been and that they'll be alright as I rush them to the Hospital HOPING that a Doctor can help them. IF a Priest has to be notified then most of the time there really is no hope..........

All extremely intellegent points. Who said Powerwashers weren't smart.:) The bible was written by Humans I think we can all agree to that. Back when the Bible was being put together people lived on Legends. Stories were told where guys like Abraham lived to 700+ yrs. Moses needed to cross the sea so he parted it. Noah needed to build an arc because the rains were coming and he needed to save every animal that lived on the earth so he took 2 of each. The stories are abundent in the "Great Book" to the point were the Bible could be considered Fiction that is based on some Fact. Kind of like what Movies do today when they want to tell a "True Story" but add fiction to it so it sells. I'm sure the "Jessica Lynch" story from Iraq will be along these lines when they make a movie about her if they haven't already. The Bible (Just my Opinion) is based on Sensationalism which draws a large group of people because we as Humans love "Sensationalism". The reason why You don't see a Jesus Christ Today even though every few years you here he may show his face somewhere is because today Fact and Fiction is much easier to seperate because we have advanced so much in the Human race. Especially in America where you see Religion taking a back seat to Reality. In poorer countries you will see Religion being supported blindly but in most of the advance countries such as here Reality is what people will support more. Example -modern medicine over spirtual cure.

This post I started was just to have a lively debate on an extremely lively topic. If it happens to get out of control then Beth should close it but untill then lets see how some of us think so we can get to know each other better. I'll aways give most religions this that it gives people a common belief and also gives people hope where they might not have it anywhere else in life. That is the plus. Also it can give them a Healthy and happy life style because of the Moral system that religion can install. The negative is that religion is the number one reason why people kill in the history of mankind. I'm sure Mohammed, Jesus and other religious leaders never had this in mind when they started there religions. Also us in the Catholic religion are taught that Heaven is the greatest place yet I know of no one rushing off to get there. Another thing is that you always hear that God has this great plan yet when a 4 yr old dies how can anyone justify that this is part of his plan??? Some religions won't even let modern cures like a life saving blood transfusion be performed on the love one because it violates there religious belief. Where is the logic to this?? There are soooo many loose ends in religion that most can not answer with facts and in most cases in life logical people like myself want the FACTS. Does this make me a bad person?? I don't think so because I treat every one fairly. I wish Religions could treat other Religions as fairly so they can knock off all the blood shed going on. Just look at the Middle East where the never ending war is going on for probably at least a 1000 yrs and will probably go for a 1000 more untill someone that all sides can respect will find a way to stop the nonsense.

I also at one time had an extended van set-up. For commercial work I think the Van Set-up is ideal especially if you go into cities where parking is always a pain. I can't tell you how many times I had a problem trying to park my Truck and trailer set-up while doing commercial work.

Jon, You sound like my type of guy. Alot of my friends from the old days can't believe I became the law considering that I was in a Rock and roll band(We sucked) I had long hair and numerous tickets on my license. Its like the Mel Brooks Movie "History of the world part I" where the guy says "Its good to be the king" I say now to my friends "Its good to be the law" Happy holidays Buddy and to everyone else.

Oneness, Welcome to the system. Here's a tip--try not to mess with it because its messed up enough-- it could turn around and bight you in the rump if you do. If you do happen to try to buck the system let us know if it was really worth it. I did it once years ago on a different type of traffic violation and I thought I was a hero. End result my Father got the ticket and he was never in the car and.....you guessed it he was found guilty in court..Of course I paid the fine. Still my old man was pissed!! He looked like this>

Song for JON from one of my favorite bands the CLASH when I was a youngster. The song titled may be what this verse is said over and over in the song "I fought the law and the law won, I fought the law and the law won!" Worse case scenario of doing what Jon posted is that since you wrote the wrong amount for the fine it may screw up there system and if that happens it will only be an inconvenience in your part when they suspend your license because the correct amount was not paid. Mess with the system will only give you a major headache even after you prove yourself right.........is it worth it???

Micheal, Congrats on your new opportunity that has came along. I wish you all the best. You will be missed here and on other bb's. Thankyou for sharing your thoughts and helping us out over the years on these bb's. You have my utmost respect as I'm sure you do with others. Good Luck and shoot for the stars!!
-
So do I. The main reason why I put up this thread in the first place is because of the amazing fall from grace with *** and its mainly to do with the server problem over there. I didn't want that bb to fall off the face of the earth because of its innovative approach to bb land where Money has no effect over there.

401K news..Have a plan? Might want to read this...
John T replied to Beth n Rod's topic in Documents, Forms & Proofs
Just another reason to put your hard earned money back into your business so you and only you can control it instead of these money hungry crooks. Does anyone remember Micheal Milken or the Movie "Wall Street"? -
I feel like cracking a joke here but don't want to upset any Wizard or Magic fans. Where I live there are some real crappy NY teams as of late and I know people who can't even get rid of there tickets....for free! I wonder if the Magic will break the record for most consecutive losses in the history of the NBA. THat might be a good game to see because it could be....history in the making.

I love it also right up there with towing a car away that was parked in the handicapped parking zone illegally. Another fun thing to see with the Fireman is when they get a call for a dashboard fire in an auto. They show up with there sledgehammers and go to town on the poor car:2eyes:

You got a GREAT deal if you bought that sprayer new. I have one that I bought 6 yrs ago and I paid about $800 then but I did get a hose reel with it for that price.

Wow, You guys/gals are way to smart for me. I can't even pretend to understand the computer jargon that is going on here. Meta tags etc... Now if you want to talk about negotiating contracts or how to raise money than we can talk. Computers...forget it!! I just hate hearing what Beth said that these sites can be manipulated even though most likely the Powerwashing sites aren't. I only like sites that have INTEGRITY so with that being said I am a bit down on www.alexa.com
-
So am I to understand that the rankings can be manipulated by $$$$?? I thought that it was an Honest Survey. Is there a site out there that can give an Honest Survey as far as to what is the most popular websites??
-
Beth is correct. Alexa ranks any website. Its cool check it out @ www.alexa.com

Thats a loaded question if there ever was one. Side stepping that question I will say this-Everybody in this country whether they support the war or not should always support 100% our troops. Its because of them which makes this country so great to live in. Not the Republicans, Democrats,Independents.....ITS BECAUSE OF THE TROOPS!!

There's a post on www.powerwashnetwork.com that I think people here should look into. Its about the PWNA and its an excellent thread. For or against the PWNA any imput is paramount in helping to get some idea's out there. Check it out and take a stand. The only way to get anything done in life is You and I mean each and everyone of you should post something because we are all in this together. You don't have to like the PWNA and if you don't express your reasons why. The ball is rolling over there on that one post and here's a chance to make a difference by at least posting something. Here's the link: A PWNA conversation"for members and non members ( 1 2 3 4 ) At least give it a thought.
-
Beth, I think the post should stay on PWN only because all can see the responses. If it started here I would say the same thing. IT's times like this when all bb's should join forces and respond to an extremely critical post on the BB where it started. All should respond for better or worse. So far its really been just a few of us that have participated in that post. My hats off to Doc Riesman,Everett Abrams and yes Dan S. for contributing and staying very Professional. Take a look see;)

I can't get the link to work but its in there "Shoot the Bull" section. You can't miss it.
-
Tony-Your not kidding. Ron P. is like a walking encyclopedia when it comes to powerwashing, motors etc. I wish I could retain half of what he spews out. I like to consider myself as a person who can retain alot but compared to Ron I feel like I have A.D.D.
-
It looks to be for water spigots. It may be neat to have this but if you have a small tank(25 gal) next to your powerwasher and your powerwasher pumps out no more then 6gpm then with a water spigot plus that 25 gal tank that should be full you should be alright because most water spigots are between 4-6gpm. At least here they are.

Riftz, Can't wait to see the pictures when its completed.

Melissa, How about some pictures of yours and your husbands set-ups?? It would be great for others to see how you guys set up your rigs. Like they say a picture is worth a 1000 words....I think thats how that saying goes:confused:
