  1. That goal was questionable at best that could've gone either way....but once again Wash found a way to lose.

Until they win a cup their history will stay intact which is they,re just a terrible playoff team and no one cares how well a team does during the Regular season. Heck the Rangers one the President cup for best record but who cares. Lord Stanley or bust..& Wash is known for..,bust.

  2. At least for now, the WASHINGTON CAPITALS are on top of our division....NOT the NY Rangers.... DO you hear that John T? See you next week.

    Beth

The Capitals are an excellent "Regular season" team but come playoff time they put a new meaning to the word CHOKE! Its like they make their own noose's. Lol

  3. Guy who was your grandad & what team did he play for?

I am pretty much a fan for most sports which is why I loved "Wide World of Sports" hosted by Jim McKay when I was a kid.

But for America's 4 main sports my favorite teams are:

    Hockey-NY Rangers

    Football-NY Jets

    Basketball-NY Knicks

Baseball-NY Mets. (Hoping for another world series championship)!!!

  4. Getting closer to getting Babe Ruth honored with that all elusive "Presidential Medal of Freedom". Just waiting on a few things including a new President. If this happens I will keep my word and let them know this came with the support of the Powerwashers....but...will no longer include any orgs because there's already enough politics involved. If anyone wants to show their plaques feel free to do so (38 Powerwashing contractors & Vendors received these). Pictured with me here in this picture is the driving force behind this which is Babe Ruth's Granddaughter Linda Ruth Tosetti(my customer) and the one and only Joe Walters. Patience is a virtue :)

  5. I hate failure especially when something was working. My PWNA days are now a thing of the past. I let my membership expire last month after 15 consecutive yrs. I'm now completely removed from the 2 non profit PW orgs. I did enjoy being involved with them both in the past but today neither fits my business model anymore.

Now I just take care of my business and my family and have moved on with ZERO involvement in fighting for the best interest of other's in the PW field. I did my time. Now its PWRA time's of enjoyment for me and ZERO Political anything just like that association is. Hope to cya guys at their DC event :)

  6. Hi John,Our first working day this year was April 21st. If I recall correctly, our best starting day in 13 yrs. was March 20th! Very late start this year, but business is quite good. But then again, we are not pressure washers, only wood guys.

On a guess Rick was that March 20th date from 2012 by any chance? That year we flew out of the gate in early March and we have never come close to the money made for any March since my business started in 1996.

  7. Hey John,You are coming to the PWRA in Md.? Thought you had a vacation lined up. Great, wouldn't be the same without 'ya!

We did Rick but unfortunately my wife was just diagnosed with Breast cancer. She had the cancerous tumor removed last week and then she starts radiation treatment soon. She's expected to make a full recovery. So I'm bringing Rob Huffman along to the PWRA convention. Looking forward to seeing you bleach kings.

  8. We had a late start because of lousy winter weather here so we didn't get started to the middle of the 1st week in April. Fortunately since then my guys have worked at least 5 days a week including July 4th week when we power washed a large parking garage that weekend.

Where booked out the rest July(my guys are doing a 3 week long nite work cleaning walkways for a nearby town) and part of August so far. What happens from Sept-Nov will really determine how good my year really was when we shut down in Dec.

So how's your year looking so far?
