removing gutter streaks in cold weather
TNRoofCleaner replied to Doug Dahlke's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I too have used purple power I also noticed streaks left over until the surface dried. The key is the metal being at 50 or above because it cools down your cleaner. Remember how long it takes to warm up old cast iron tubs? -
is this used set up worth it?

Ever heard of this stuff
TNRoofCleaner replied to TroyCRS's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I buy my cleaners and such from Southern Stain and Seal. Everything comes in a pre-measured pouch so all I so is open the bag and pour it into the bucket. Very good stuff. -

Black streaks on fence how do I remove them?
TNRoofCleaner replied to Carolina Clean's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Looks like thin spots in the paint to me. It is probably time for a fresh coat. -
You can always try Google voice for free.

There will be times that this will cut out also. The key is having a fast computer and fast internet connection. I just forward mine to my cell and give out that number for business.

Better MPG for your pressure washer
TNRoofCleaner posted a topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Learned something new yesterday that I had not heard of. Tuesday all was well or so I thought. Yesterday I get to the site and attempt to start washing and after 30 seconds I lose most of my pressure. I could not figure out what the problem was so I disconnected the hoses and headed to the PW shop 5 miles away. We used their hoses and when he released the trigger gun the pressure hose blew..... Unloader problem. Replaced the unloader and WOW what a difference in performance. I also noticed better MPG (Minutes per gallon) on the fuel consumption. I think I will now be changing this every year to prevent any breakdowns or loss of performance. -
You need a pressure gauge and adjust to the pressure setting with the gun open.
